John Lawton is great and warm person and a fantastic singer. It was a really a big honour to get the opportunity to play this song with John in june 2007 at the Jóansøkufestival on the Faroe Islands. We used to listen to all the Heep songs as teenagers and we tried to play some of them!. We are looking forward to see John again at the Heepvention in Spain in september 2008.

Thank you, Rychro Anrise. I used to be a big Uriah Heep fan around the Demons and Wizards period (saw them a few times 69-73) and Ken's solo material of that time; after that I "lost" them a bit. In the past years, however, I bought the albums up to Firefly but never caught up on the albums after that. I shall certainly give Fallen Angel a listen.

Lucifers friend was indeed a great band. Their first album is just amazing. Ride the sky is my favorite.

But I like him even more when he was with Uriah Heep.

He had this powerfull passionate voice...got to love it.

This will shock a lot of people but I say Uriah Heep in the late 70's or early 80's with John Lawton with Foreigner as the opening act in KC. I was in the 3rd row at the Uptown Theater. What a Concert.
