Reed is cocky and only in the lead because Stewart crashes. He lagged behind Charmichael now he lags behind Stewart until he makes a mistake. Reed is an experienced rider but only as good as 2nd place.

well maybe if he didnt crash as much then he would be in the lead, reed he is a great racer he knows what its all about if you cant beat the fastest rider (stewart) then you just stay with him and force him into a mistake and then take the win, thats what makes the best rider a rider who is consistent, and doesnt make a lot of mistakes. Chad is more consistent and makes less mistake than stewart, and thats why he has the points lead......the fastest rider isnt always the best racer.

i agree with soadtev and did chad set the fastest lap time at daytona? wat bout wen he had a 2 secound faster lap time than stewart the differnce betwen the best (ricky charmical & stefan everts maybe reed) is that ther hardly ever crashing or making mistakes, and yet ther so smooth and have the simular lap times to js and some times faster.. its not ur fastest lap time itss ur average lap time more peeps shud rember that

it doesnt matter how many wins you had during the series all that matters is who wins it in las vegas, a great example is in 2006 carmichael only had 6 wins, but won the championship no one cares that reed was tied with him going into the final round in las vegas all that matters is who won the championship, no one cares how many wins you get, its all about who wins it in the end
