@andriante Meat is fat and protein. After you cook it, the vitamins and other nutrients that are in it pale in comparison to the content of fruits and vegetables. So no, meat serves no purpose beyond calories, even if our bodies were made to eat it.
I eat a raw food diet, but I have a hard time believing 8-1-1 is actually sufficient long-term. Look at him, I would NOT want to look like him. He's got arthritis with one of the fingers on his right hand bent the wrong way from arthritis. The raw diet WORKS, but not 80% fruit in the long-term. My 2 cents.
Just for clarity... his finger is bent from an accident he had as a gymnast where he landed wrong and tore the ligament. He does not have arthritis. One of his fitness classes is ample to demonstrate this. His pinky has been bent this way since he was a teenager.
Say what you want about a fruit diet, we hear it all the time.

Hi, I live in Norway, is it possible to get the book shipped here? I'm very interested in living the best lifestyle possible as God designed it this way, fruits and seeds was the diet in the garden of Eden according to the Bible and vegetables were added after the fall. Anyway, I will go for this diet as soon as I get a new salary :) Thanks for opening up my eyes that had slowly closed and I was almost in a complete stupor.
@Mekelsior Hello, you can order Doug Graham's books on amazon, they ship anywhere in the world i think. I live in Bulgaria (Southeast Europe) and the 80/10/10 book came in less that 20 days. Have a sweet fruity day! :)
@daniyan Thank you I will have a look, I'm still not raw.. but I will make the changes needed as soon as possible. Have a wonderful fruity day to you as well and God bless! =)
Can you give me a tip on how to eat just quickly so I can get a head start? Is there dangers to malnutrition if I eat limited variation, north of Norway is not to lush with vegetables or fruit this time of year. How should I transition? (Currently just following dietary laws, eating clean meat..) But I want to make a change for the best and for the long haul. Anyway God bless you guys and keep up the good work!
If you are not eating at least 80 percent fruit (calories) then you are not eating a truly raw diet. The rest of your calories have to be coming from nuts and seeds (cooked) and oils(refined). Unless of course you are eating like 20 lbs of vegetables a day but I doubt that. It is ok to use a transitional diet but if you claim it is a raw diet it is a misrepresentation.
the argument for Raw Supplements always is that the soils are so poor that the modern day raw food doesnt contain the same nutrients as it did years ago
In his books does he refer to any medical studies proving that humans use so little protein?
I keep on looking on the website and listening to his lecture, but he doesn't give ANY medical evidence.

Fuck you, you scamming shill internet con man. You are a complete quack, whose claims are baseless.
You are deficient in the very long chain animal based marine fats EPA/DHA/DPA, proven by science to dramatically reduce coronary artery disease.

Man will evolve from this vegetarian idiocy soon and realize that meat is what we're made to eat. Yes this is coming from an ex-vegan

It was only a matter of time before someone attempted to use his FINGER against the way he eats. LOL People will use ANYTHING!
If you listened to more of him and Ornish, McDougal, etc, you'd have more than 2 cents.
The body runs on carbs. NOTHING else is "actually sufficient long-term".
