Pendulum are a Drum n Bass band that consists of different members of OLD Metal/Punk/Rock Bands. They came together to make music in the form of Drum n Bass. In their newest album 'In Silico' they've gone slightly back to their old roots and made a lot of music with a mix of Drum n Bass and Rock which is why there are a lot of vocals. Their older album 'Hold your Colour' is PURE Drum n Bass.

Pendulum are trying to make a transition from Drum n Bass .

But it IS NOT DRUM N BASS and pendulum are TALKING SHIT when they pretend it is. Frankly it gives the scene a bad name, and Pendulum are to blame for a great deal of fucking wankers invading what used to be one of britains only exclusive quality underground scenes. They can make stuff like this, but mislabelling it was a mistake.

I somewhat agree. I find that although I enjoy the new album's sound, Hold Your Color was unique. And that's what made it so enjoyable. It wasn't as easily accesible as In Silco, but it stayed fresh for longer.

But I do respect that the band needs to get mass appeal, and truly good music rarely does that (Look at In Flames older work vs. the new work)
