  • cara, eu sempre falei desse desenhos. o nome aqui no Brasil era algo como SALBOTS, ninguém acreditava em mim...EU TAVA CERTOOOOOO

  • Hell yeah

  • There's no atmosphere in space, so there's not much point in having a spacecraft with sails attached to it, is there?

  • @mistofoles Actually, scientist believe it may be the only way to travel in space using solar sails. The photons from the sun hit the huge solar sails and propel the craft.

  • Ohhhh man I use to love watching this show when I was growing up. Weekday afternoon barton cartoons FTW

  • i was so into this cartoon when i was a kid. watched in again recently. just didnt hold up lol

  • Lightning Strikes! Even the Outro was sick. :)

  • why did the 80's and 90's have to end. these days suck total ass everything is negative, id rather be lied to like back then instead being given all the shit that goes on, what ever happened to afternoon cartoons, now its all reality shows and live action crap like hannah montana that little bitch

  • @minigun20 blame the parent groups who said that the cartoons were to violent to be run even though alot of parents grow up watching thease same shows as kids them selves they were lead to belivie that thease types of shows lead to violence in the schools and server to stero type girls and boys .

  • @paulgoff18 Yeah. They should all GO BACK TO HELL for FUCKING UP EVERYTHING nowadays!

  • They just don't put this much imagination into cartoons these days.

  • Comment removed

  • I think that you mean Silverhawks.

  • @davidrobertbrown lol that could be any 80's cartoon :P

  • Something i remember a bit, although it never had an ending after 65 episodes

t still was nice to see sat .morning. this cartoon is from 1985 and run till mid-1986, and this cartoon was an product of american-french-japanese coll studio. Story and intro was american, creator and producer was an frenchmen and the animation , screenplay design was made by uncredited japanese animators( just as in thundercats and a part of ulysses 31) :p

  • ha im pretty sure this used to be on early as fuck in the morning on channel 4 ??!

  • Today it's reversed: first comes the show and eventualy goodies after. So they don't care so much about making good show with a budget. They just create a crapload of dull shows hopping one would sell. Mass media and fast paced production comes at the price of quality. And now where stuck with stupid cartoons with awefull animation and scenario. That's sad...

  • Yup, sure the cartoon's where dam' good in that time. But there is a true comerical reality behind it. This show, like a lot of others at the time, was created to support a brand of toys from Mattel. The toys came befor the anime and if the studio screwed up the show, the toys woudn't sell. So they HAD to put a serious budget on creating good show or toymakers would loose even more money.

  • God I loved this when I was a kid. I still remember the episode when he actually found his father... and then something happened and the father got teleported away after helping save the day. I'm tearing up again just thinking about it.

  • man im 29 now, and seriuosly these cartoons were the best evwer made. All this new crap that looks like fucking manga and anime is shite. The 80's and early 90's is where the trully great cartoons were made.

  • i love 80s cartoons mainly because most of the intros were these bad pop rock songs. music that sounds like it was on the B side of a survivor record.

  • and this is way to this day i hate broccoli

  • 0:06 freiza

  • This tune would be at home on an old Rocky flick!!!

  • holy crap i thought id imagined that show!

  • This show always confused the shit out of me. How come the plants turned into metal and stuff? I mean, I'm all for suspension of disbelief, but wtf?

  • The show takes place in a universe where science and magic are merged.

  • I loved this show but it never was on in a good time slot. It always came on too early or too late on weekday mornings.

  • I looove this show it was one of my faves with Defenders of the Earth and Bravestarr

Thanks for the upload i loved the intro song could remember the name

Do you know where i can get the episodes for any of these?

  • These were the days when turning on the T.V. was worth it!

  • They knew how to do scores back then. Loved this show.

  • did anyone else have the toys like I did???

  • I built them from lego

  • I sure did jayhov15, my uncle and I both. K.O. Cruiser was my favorite one, so was Terror Tank and Beast Walker. From the LL, I liked Armed Force, Drill Sergeant, and Spike Trike.

  • I miss 80s animation and the pigtailed/redheaded lolis that populated it... *sigh*

  • the fuck is wrong with you? goddamned weirdo anime fans.

  • Don't belittle my people, fatass.

  • Man,i saw this cartoon every day when i was kid,Thanks for post it on YouTube.

  • This was the basis for many of my afternoons when I was but a nipper in the mid to late 80's.

  • I loved this cartoon. I wonder if it'll ever be released on DVD. This and the Pirates of Dark Water were favorites around my house. My Dad and I waited for these to come on. We loved them.

  • lol why type just that? If you didn't like it you could at least elaborate as to why, or perhaps that would only reveal the fact you detest the show for no other reason than everyone else likes it and you wish to be different. I admit some aspects of dialogue and character interaction were cheesy but what 80s cartoon wasn't? Was a great show, and a top theme tune.

  • I just hated it. It seemed so damn cheesy to me even more so than most of the other shows.

  • well if you arnt the sort of person to lose singing the opening and ending theme to any sorts of people.....then yes....cheeseyness isnt your thing.

  • i remember this one. Cool. But i was more of a space head:p(starcom and this that flie;))

  • they outta come out with a classic cartoon network and show all those awesome cartoons from the 80's

  • This used to be on one of the cartoon channels on sky, think it was fox kids

It's not on anymore though :-(

  • wow, this intro was way more "80slicious" than I remember. lol

  • See, that's why I love YOUTUBE. After reading posts like these it lets me know that i'm not alone in remembering these great cartoons or even the themesongs. God i miss the 80's cartoons!

  • Classic!!! I LOVED this cartoon and it is probably what made me into a petrolhead.

  • so true cartoons back then had alot of emphasis on the hero aspect of things, made me feel that achieve anything. These days they turning the youngster into a bunch of faggots.. I think the best toon for 90's was DB,DBZ,DBGT.

  • Oh! Oh! I sang bits of this intro for years along with Ulysses 31. Keep on rollin', keep on rollin' - why cant' we have some cartoons with heroes in instead of all this Beavis, Simpsons American King of the Pokemons rubbish!

  • best 80's cartoon intro ever,oh by the way the toys sucked.they would break if u changed the parts to much you couldnt play to rough with the toys plus none of them resembled jake or any other wheeled warriors

  • holy shit !!there were toys of jace and the wheeled warriors man thats fn cool!!!

  • I always wanted the toy cars

  • wowo been an age since i seen this, ooh myy doesnt the narrator at the beging sound like Mene Gene

  • same here... do you remember defenders of the earth? da one deh mad

The Phantom - "Give me the power of ten tigers!!!" we would say that at school right before somebody gets a karate kick. lol

  • rass them cartoon here tek mi waaay waaay back

  • in jamaica i grew up on this and SilverHawks, as well as thundercats and He-man

  • kids nowadays dont know what they missing lol remember ulysses another classic

  • don't forget mysterious cities of gold as well!

  • 80s cartoons, the best....fuck cartoons nowadays. christ, the shit nowadays? like dexters lab, samurai pizza cats, etc......wtf...

  • I agree man the 80's had the best cartoons no doubt and this crap on tv nowadays is pitiful.

  • @johnnyblaze9333

Sorry But I think Samurai Pizza Cats was one of the best accidents to ever happen to animation :D

  • i really miss those old shows

  • This song was good in spanish too.

  • love this tune!

  • wow, brings back memories. when i was kid this was the coolest thing ever

  • This was real?

I remeber this when I was three

  • great theme song. used to lay in bed at a weekend and watch this. brilliant kids tv

  • wow this was like my fav cartoon =/ i miss it

  • i believe you people are looking for word's like best cartoon series of the 80's

  • The enemies where so cool

  • This cartoon had both a great beginning intro & ending!

  • thank you very much. keep the classics coming. this is great stuff

  • They don't make cartoons as they used to anymore. Damn you Japan

  • Some of these American 80s cartoons were actually animated by the Japanese like Thundercats, Silverhawks, and Bionic Six.

  • What the hell? You blame the japanese for the decline of cartoons? It's American that went to hell. Haven't made a good cartoon in over 15 years. Japan is on a whole different level than America, even though anime has declined recently as well.

  • i totally agree with you on that

  • this group is wats gud rite now

    --

    Sent from my Helio Ocean

  • Written by the creator of Babylon-5, he also wrote the first season of the Ghostbusters animated series.

  • too many cartoons these days suck because they are all about kung fu or some crap.

gotta love traditional 80's crap XD

  • Comparing with most of the 80s greatest cartoons - this one has a real high level soundtrack.

  • I remember in one episode,Jayce found hes father only to have someone send him back it time.

Needless to say,me and my brothers were pissed.

  • there was another episode when the saw boss duplicated jayce's father with one of those vines, trying to get to jayce

  • this was a much see show in its day, never forgotten it, good to see it again

  • Wow, i'd totally forgot about this cartoon...but seeing the intro again..talk about memories!

  • We need more cartoons like this.

  • This one is a co production between France and Canada.

  • Thanks for posting this shows opening, I had a very faint recollection of this show and could never remmeber the name. Thanks so much for posting this.

  • i forgot wot this was called, just had a faint memory of it,cartoons over the past 15-20 years have just been crap,id put any money if these cartoons were put beside any of the new cartoons like pokemon and the likes, the old school 80's cartoons would come out on top without a doubt

  • They may have been animated in asia, but most of the story lines came from over here. That's the main point. Shows back then actually had storys to them.

  • actually most 80's cartoons are anime. Even G.I. Joe was made in asia, Phillipines and in Japan. this was the Disco of Japanese anime.

  • most of you guys are clueless, almost all of these 80's cartoons are in one way or another made in Japan.

  • why do you think all the 80s toons are coming back and are on DVD?!?! all this computer/japan stuff you get these day is tat!!!

  • American made cartoons have really gone down the toilet over the last 20 years

  • Amen

  • True, but the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is a decent one.

  • *sigh* They don't make cartoons like they used to.

  • no-one ever remembers this cartoon when i try to remind them of it. i totally loved it but i used to get really confused by the story line as i was quite young.

  • Fuh real i always talk about it ,or try to tell them about it but never remember the name and as a result look like a total retard lol but it kicked ass one of the best

  • All cartoons of the 80's rule including this show

  • hell yeah, toons these days arent even close to the toons of the 1980s!

  • Shit... this cartoon rocked!!

Much respect to darkjudges0 for making me feel old today with this intro.

  • fuck me i loved this and completly for got bout it any one know if its availible on dvd series

  • Amazing! I had totally forgotten about this show until seeing this clip! Being a boy, I loved it for the vehicles, which I think, I used to draw! lol I'd half like to see an episode again, but then again maybe not. Watching Mask again ruined that :-/

  • You got magic in my technology! You got technology in my magic!

  • Man I miss 80s toons. The intro is classic 80s hairband music. This one was very original I thought.

  • Another show I used to watch with my oldest son....I LOVED the theme song!

  • Nice clip! Anyone remember "Thundar the Barbarian"?

  • By far one of the most creative of the 80's cartoons to be made. The addition of the old Wizzard guy & the lil mini knight added much to it. Good art (as was usual for many of the 80's) but like all 80's sat cartoons started strong and fizzled out in quality near the end.

  • i used to watch it,, but didnt remember it that well..memories are clear now :D

  • i loved it

  • i remember the toys too :D

  • I used to watch this show before 6th grade every morning!

  • COOOL!

  • I utterly and TOTALLY remember this show!!!! This was definitely a cool 'Toon!
