I personally think that more recent performances of old Testament songs do more justice to the songwriting than the actual studio versions. The production on their first few albums is really tinny. But live, especially with more recent sound equipment, the true thrash energy really comes through. At least in my opinion.

i think the reason why bands like testament and exodus aren't as big asothers its because of their constant change in line ups i mean they are very talented n good but it's hard to be a true fan when they change so much its just not the same band the sound changes (some may like the new some not), contrair to slayer, metallica or megadeth(well they change a lot too but to be fair the only who matters in megadeth is the only one who'll never leave... mustaine)
