I'm so upset that we have to wait a whole other year to watch this movie, than again if you think about it it's better to wait a long time than watch the movie being fantastic instead of waiting a short time than watching the movie being not as good, but I still wish it was coming out this year but I can wait there's a lot of things to look forward to while waiting, can't wait to see the 3D and the 48 frames

Can't wait for these films. People can say what they want about 3D but just remember Avatar and how amazing that looked and how excited everyone was. This isn't late-production 3D, this is the real deal. The films will look incredible, especilaly with the 48 frames per second. It will be AMAZING. In Jackson we trust.

To you saying "3D is crap"...that's because 99% off all movies released in 3D are NOT FILMED IN 3D! They are shitty conversions filmed in 2D. The Hobbit is being filmed in 3D, just like Avatar, which was also praised for having good 3D.

I must have watched the extended versions of the three (4 dvds each movie. 2 for the movie, 2 for extras) like a million times.. Oh good heavens I wish I was part of this..
