  • its looks like its comes from the deepest of the sea

  • is this similar to JoJo Mayers signature ride?

  • @StewieDSynman Yes, in that they're both unlathed. The Fierce comes in a 21" and it's a little more hammered than the Raw -- so it's higher volume and more complex.

  • This would be awesome for jazz.

  • @Peartnoy518 This IS awesome for jazz. :-)

  • it's the most crashable dry ride ever! hahaha!

  • Dear Sabian, I love you, but I do not like this cymbal at all.

  • Why get a mallet if it's a ride ? Dudes, riiide :) ?

  • I am deciding between three kits: "AA" (from Sabian), "Titanium" (from Zildjian) or "A Custom" (also from Zildjian). What tips would you give me?

  • @eduardoohcg a custom and AA are both good, do not get the titanium cymbals, the sound horrible

  • It is not a crash.... Please... let the ride ride a little more.

  • The finish is painted on! I didn't like mine and ebayed it.

  • 2008 22" high definition or the 21"special dry zildjians are iller if your looking for that sound from zildjian more expensive i think though

  • So what would be the Zildjian equivalent to this ride?

  • Zildjian doesn't really make anything like this. The closest is probably the Special Dry?

  • Zildjian Earth Rides are the next best thing i reckon

  • they are awful...

  • @bostondrum Couldn't the Breakbeat ride be a close approximation?

  • @rusokarolys Yeah, good point. But the Breakbeat is much drier, and lacks the nice bright stick.

  • @bostondrum wrong, zildjian has the earth ride, i own one, it is dry as sand

  • @wp08021 Yeah, except that it's probably double the weight of the Raw Ride.

  • @beef7790 If you can find it, I thiiiink... the Left Side Ride might be comparable. It's a bit dirtier I'm pretty sure.

  • I think I've made up my mind!

  • damn this ride is amazing to me

  • And it also sounds SO MUCH different to the demo on the sabian website

    Steve

  • i was expecting very dry overtones, but beautifully balanced, and a good amount of crashability

    nice bell too

    Yet another great from Sabian

  • just got this today, used for 170$. I got them to drill some rivet holes in there, sounds beautiful.

  • from?

  • this place called soul drums in toronto

  • Is this medium thin or medium?

  • Sabian calls it medium thin. But the 2156 gram weight should be your guide. Thanks for watching.

  • how much for this

  • $245.00

  • o that is sexy sounding

jks i like a nice raw ride like that that dosent give to much ring but still gives a nice ping that stands out
