I am bored and I am boring?

    Thanks

    Greg

  • @gregstera -- Hi Greg. Good question. You can't always say that the past participle describes a person and the present participle describes a thing, because I'm pretty sure I have been perceived as "boring" by some of my students at some point or another. The present participle describes the source of the feeling: exciting, surprising, boring, confusing, etc. A person can, of course, be these things also. It would be great to hear from other teachers on this.

  • You can explain even the English confuse me - mainly because of grammar. Thank you teacher. We love your lessons.

  • the best!
