can i use a lexar memory sticks? is there any other methods than this one, i don't have quicktime pro, planing on getting it but would like to know is there any more ways i can do this whit some other convertion apps or whatever? happy 4 soon response, have to pull this off by tonight
Just leave it for a moment, sometimes after a security update it takes longer for it to boot to the desktop. If it persists go to an Apple Store and make an appointment to speak to a Genius. They usually can fix stuff right there.
Yes there are other programs however they usually cause your videos to lose quality and cost over $30. Also many programs are ONLY for PSP conversion. This method allows you to use a program that is useful beyond PSP video conversions.
There are many sites that will allow you to download videos, the best thing to do is to search for what you want and see if it is available, podcasts (via iTunes) are usually best. Just remember to respect any and all copyrights associated with the media to be converted. Piracy ruins it for everybody, please do not support, endorse or use pirated media.
Very simple, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed. Import the files into iTunes. Then select the file and click, Advanced >>> Convert Selection for iPod/iPhone, it will then convert. This will work on Mac OS X and Windows. You could also to use Export Movie to iPhone in QuickTime Pro.
Of course you would. It would be kind of hard to try and put videos onto a non-existent PSP. I mean you can try, but it is hard to put something into nothing unless go into another dimension or level of reality.
Well yes. The ideal situation is that everybody can benefit from this, not just gamer geeks and nerds; you know real people that live in reality land.
If you have a Mac you just need iMovie (which every Mac comes with), if you have a Windows PC you need QuickTime Pro. iMovie does not run on Windows PCs. You can purchase the QuickTime Pro activation key from the Apple Store online. Mac users do not need QuickTime Pro as they already have a version of it embedded in iMovie.
Be advised that in order to use this process you need QuickTime Pro which you can purchase online from the Apple Store. Or if you have a Mac you can use my other PSP conversion video which does not require QuickTime Pro. The link is in the video information.
No, this is not homebrew or any form of program code manipulation or writing. This is simply using certain settings in either QuickTime Pro or iMovie when exporting a video file. Literally I called Sony and got the video parameters from them and then messed with them to optimize quality. This video was the result of three hours of trial and error with video encoding settings. I don't use homebrew partly because I have no idea how do write or use it.
Oh no, sorry to the person's comment I deleted! An improper comment was posted and in an effort to delete it I accidentally deleted another persons (in addition). Sorry guys!
Make sure you have the latest versions of EVERYTHING. QuickTime, PSP System and OS X. If all else fails re-export the nonworking video. I've seen that sometimes helps if nothing turns up on the PSP. Make sure it is in the "VIDEO" File.
ok i had to update my psp wich i forget yay for quicktime pro and all you noobs if you dont have it GET IT!!! and p.s. my psp brand mem stick works with this

if u have the 1GB sandisk memory card will it work
gh3man911 3 years ago
The size of the memory card does not matter. Video files tend to be large so a larger memory card is better.

DjTonyMundaca 4 years ago
Any size will do. Bigger the better usually as the files can get fairly large. I'd recommend 1GB as a minimum.
