I might recommend that you do the bottom waterline/lid FIRST, then the top lid, since our lower lids naturally fit beneath our upper ones. It makes it look a little more natural...well, as natural as an eyeball in your palm can look. :P

Pale Man is a classical character. It is disgusting, terriflying and pathetic. It can't see you or move fast enough to be an efficient predator, yet you wouldn't want to be in an enclosed area with it as it's flesh-hungry and ravenous.

Excellent Klaire! the Special FX MUA who did this are a team of catalans (mainly a girl and a guy) who started their own FX company. They are very young (in their 28's or 30's) and nobody knew about them. They did the makeup for this movie and won an Oscar, at a VERY young age. With a talent like yours, I think you can go as far as you wanna go :)

Great tutorial! I had a chance to talk with Doug Jones a while back. He really lives for these creatures. He was 3 characters in hellboy 2 as far as I know. and a few characters in pans labyrinth as well.He really is one of the nicest "celebrities" I've met. If you have the chance to meet him DO IT! He has such a wealth of knowledge on this stuff!
