I absolutely loved the arrangement. I love to see musicians change the arrangement of the way the original song goes. I think it shows the true talent that God has blessed you with. I don't think God cares as long as we are worshipping...remember what comes from the heart reaches the heart! It is the anointing that destroys the yolk! Be abundantly blessed!
The tempo was not rushed. An the arrangement of the song was changed as well as the tempo from the original to give it an extra kick to suit the needs and the climate of the church body. Keep in mind, every musician from any church reserves the write to change a song how they see fit. Case in point, this song.
This song was altered, speeded up, and changed at the sole desire of the musician.
Regardless on how you think the song was played, it is NOT you singing it.

That was fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. So with that said, I will voice mine. I am muscially incline. The sopranos were not flat. However, that one soprano is really drowning out the others. It is obvious that she holds up the section. But at the same time, just try to blend in. For as the choir director. He was repeating the same line way to many times back to back. But in all, it doesn't matter. They are worshipping and praising GOD.
This choir sounds good to me, and that one girl is playing that tambourine for real. Man...just listen to the song. Don't hate on the choir. They did good to me. Just my opinion.
They are not flat dear....Thats the arrangement of the song the musican has the soporanos singing at, and sound just fine. If you really listen, its the tenor throwing the 3 part harmony off...that is clearly obvious!
Dear, I know music have a Bachelors In Music Education and working on my masters and I know when someone is flat. Whoever said that it didnt sound fine? I know what this song is supposed to sound like also but I didnt judge that yall are praising and thats that. Thank you and Goodnite!!
I don't care about your degree's. You and I both know that music can be altered. That is the arrangement of the song that the musician wanted, and the sopranos sound fine. You are standing in judgement, regardless. Face it, your education has no bounds here. Let God have his moment of glory with you ruining it. Shame on you. May God bless your judgemental ways.
I love that the arrangement is different. But they are indeed flat and the alto and tenor sections are singing in the wrong pitch. If sang correctly, this could be a VERY challanging piece. Seems as if it was rearranged to make it a bit easier for the choir. They could DEFINITELY work on their dynamics. Practice singing with a more rounded sound. But All That really matters is they lifted up the name of the lord and touched the spirits of their audience.

You're right, they are definitely under the notes. But it sounds like its probably one of those situations where there is one or two REALLY strong section members that drown everybody else out that are flat, as opposed to the whole section.
