@xuzax Looks like we have another youtube troll technician here. Note the incorrect grammar in his or her comment. It's "you're"! Not "your". Read your comment before you post so I might take you seriously. But I will take notes from your video on how to wire up a sub by filming the instructions like you have....
@ChronicNateTV Honestly I wasn't using the best multimeter. That particular sub had two voice coils rated for 4 OHMS each so it should have registered 8 in theory. Or the parts used in the sub weren't exactly to spec. There will be small discrepancies from time to time.
@AnthonyJ350 thanks man!!!! i havent tried it will a car batt...but i had it hook up in my house becuz my car is getting worked on soo i pulled everything. sub amp headunit... and it was heating up rather quickly...but now since i watched this my sub is running cool!! thanks man!!
Very basic! Your doing it wrong faggot. you need to put the coils together the take ground the first coil and power from the 2nd coil on other side.

@theapothem1 If you have DVC sub with voice coils that are 2 OHMS each and you want a 4 OHM load wire it in series.

@serapoli I'd just use any good quality 14 to 12 gauge speaker wire.
