For anyone wondering about the tuning for this song, I found the Superunknown tab book at a thrift store. It lists the tuning as CGCGGE; the G on the 2nd (highest) string is tuned an octave down from the one before it.

C G C G G E. It's also the tuning used on Pretty Noose and Burden in My Hand im pretty sure. The 2 G strings in a row give it a cool chorus sound if they are fretted together. but this tuning sounds good too :)

I tried the tuning I use for Head Down and it works for Burden and Noose also. If your tuning works for you thats great! The double note tuning I posted in RUSH HOPE. Check it out.

Yeah its an open C tuning but i always double the highest G, which means i drop my B string al the way down to a G, it sounds really sick and you can use it by playing the same on your (B) string that you play on your G string in that intro part of the song, Thats the way i play it, Same tuning as Burden in my Hand.
