this is an off topic question, but does anyone know what episode of the old cartoon it was, where cobra commander was turned back into a human from being a snake (due to the events that took place in the G.I. Joe movie)? I can vaguely remember from childhood Destro being there and somehow helping out with it. The VHS it was on actually may have come with one of the action figures. Im not sure though.

Im more of a fan of the Marvel comics series so I get one of them comic 2-packs if I see one I dont have everytime I go to Wal-Mart. Actually I buy any GI Joe I dont have when I see it. I have practically the every figure in waves one through three. Cant find me a fucking Sgt. Flash though. Damn I have Grand-Slam and he is SWEET! Wish he came with a laser though.

Hasbro was smart releasing these relatively close to the movie announcement, but what sucks is people are purchasing these as investments. Most people bought them in the 80s just as toys that were broken, lost, and traded. Which increased the values, now today everyone is buying them to sell on E-Bay, thinking they are going to make thousands but in fact only impulsive buyers would pay anything over retail. Unfortunately for them these are not that hard to get your hands on.

Last year I saw like 3-4 Flints in one day at a kaybee in Englewood NJ. I was thinking of Quiting My job so I didn't get him to save cash. He was my favorite in the 80's and he was always "my guy" that I used when we played with our Joes. He is a bitch and a half to find and being sold for sick amounts on Ebay. I got one this week to pretty much just look at on a wall. I wanna get my nephews into these and so I also picked up 2 old Flints(one 80's/one 2005ish one to keep one to play with them!

I bought the Cobra box set, very cool. what is the difference between the regular soldier in the box set and the one at the end of this video? the one in the box has a black dragunov rifle with a scope. the one in the package has a brown/black SKS looking gun sans scope.

I highly reccomend the Cobra set. Baroness has a leg sheath for a knife. Destro has a holster & pistol. Storm Shadow has a throwing knife that can be put into his belt. how cool is that?

The differences are very hard to spot. The Cobra Trooper in the 5 pack has a slightly different colored rifle from the Wave 2 one, and the Cobra insignia on its chest is red, unlike the one in Wave 2, which its insignia is white. Hope this helped ya!

I've gotten most of mine at Target...I've bought a few of them at Walmart as well...just have to be lucky and be at the right place at the right time because they don't stay on the shelves very long!

Zartan was definitely one of the coolest characters that was released especially because of his color changing ability...These 25th anniversary Joe's were an absolute no brainer when i heard about them coming out...i hope they continue bringing more of them out!

I had Snake Eyes too, but he was stolen as well (man, what's with all this stealing?) so now I only have his backpack+sword and wolf. I had Tomax and Xamot, but (probably the same guy) stole one of those Twins. I don't remember who's who, but their appearances were mirrored from each other (haircut, etc.). I liked the Cobra characters much more than the Joe's.

Our drawers didn't have locks because they were intended for drawings, notes and stuff like that. I still have 2 add-ons. One is a motorized mountain climber. The other is the famous Cobra jet pack with glass shield (1/4 sphere). I also have the Cobra helicopter with open cockpit but one rotor blade is broken :(

I had a Cobra Trooper but he was stolen from my desk drawer at school. Cobra Commander was a mailaway over here but only as the towel mask version. I received the same Cobra Commander as yours yesterday (loose figure + stand, pistol and biocard from eBay). I have Storm Shadow, he's awesome. In the cartoon he always wore that white T-shirt, even when it was freezing! I didn't like Destro because he was higher ranked than Cobra Commander who was much cooler.
