From where are I work (call center) the Indians are always made fun of because of their accent, next is Chinese, and so on and so forth. I bet they do the same in other call centers here in Manila. Can Ms. Lee Dae Hae's speak English fluently without Korean accent? I think her mimics of Philippine English is true for Filipinos who were not able to finish elementary or high school, but at least Americans can understand them. From where are I work (call center) the Indians are always made fun of because of their accent, next is Chinese, and so on and so forth. I bet they do the same in other call centers here in Manila. But mind you, if our accents are made fun of surely their will be lots of negative reactions. Filipinos should learn to take criticism as well, and not take them personally all the time. The only reason why it sounds hurtful, is because we make it hurtful.. by being self conscious of our skin tone. I know a half Japanese guy, who is also part Jamaican, and he is an attractive dark Asian I've ever set my eyes upon and it didn't matter to him how long he stayed in the sun. He was soo beautiful to me and some other Asian girls with light skin. There were some people that even mistaken him for being Filipino, & he didn't like it but it is because he's proud of his Japanese heritage.

I commend yoo on your view, thank you for being logical & thank you for saying Koreans are nice~ Im half Korean & very proud to be. I dnt think people are aware of this, but every nationality makes fun of every nationality's accent. Im a big fan of Lee Da Hae & I have respect for all nationalities[Filipino too] & looking at this from both sides, I concluded that she [probably] shouldn't have done that "imitation" & Filipinos [probably] shouldn't have raged so hard, Asian pride anybody?
