the only boss that was a problem for me in this game was colenel with zero he is so hard

and x7 was kinda boring and the tutorial in the beginging was wasteful and x8 was pretty good but not a good as x4/5

I don't think X6 actually SUCKS. It's a mediocre game. I never bothered to finish it. It just comes off as awful when you compare it to the greatness of the Mega Man games that came before it. X6 in my opinion doesn't quite devolve into a low enough level to classify as suckage, though. It certainly doesn't live up to its name, though; I have to admit, comparing it to other Mega Man games, it falls way, way short. And it's not GOOD even taken by itself. X7 and X8 are even lower, IMO.

X6 was clearly rushed...It was the worst out of X1-X6 easily. I couldn't believe how half assed Sigma looked at the end and how poor the fight was. Alot of the levels were totaly irrating and frusturating as well.

I'm not a big fan of X5 either really....seriously, time based levels? Not to mention the controls were worse(not as bad as X6's)

. X1 is the cream of the crop, along with X2 and X4. X3 was just 'ok'

Havent played X7 or X8....I hear they'r pretty bad ;p

The X serise should have never went past X5 At most. I feel like it should have stopped with X4 or atleast something else should have happened in X5

I dunno why Capcom does stupid shit like get rid of character voices and animation. I loved X4 because it had all that. While X5 was still good, X6 was even worse.

I think X7 was horrible, Megaman should never be in 3d, but X8 wasn't bad, but Capcom did get a bit lazy after X4.

More like, they screwed up with bringing Sigma back all the time. X4 was fun because of the gameplay. X5 was utterlly the same. X6 suddenly started in 3D and that went fucked up. -_-;

Yup, it has Mega Man X1-6 and that "Battle & Chase" thing, and is available for PS2 and GameCube. Should still be able to find it, I would think.

I have the collection as well, and that's referring to the bonus unlockable game "Mega Man Battle & Chase", a PlayStation racing game (based on the Mega Man Classic series, not the X series) previously unreleased in the US. It does have multiplayer racing, although I don't know the details because I haven't messed with it much. (don't particularly care for the game myself)

Very nice. I just got this game today and I couldn't beat this boss but your strategy has helped me. Thanks. Oh and btw, are there any Mega Man X games that are multiplayer? My friend told me that X4 is multiplayer after you've beaten the game but I'm not sure...

i beat this game with zero before i beat it with x, and the difficulty for both characters is respectivley the same.

I'm pretty much the same way, although I think a couple of the bosses (such as Magma Dragoon and Slash Beast) are easier with X since he has weapons to exploit their weaknesses. It's almost too easy though, so I find it considerably more fun with Zero.
