Navy has been beating Army over the last 7 to 8 years; hmM, I wonder why? Oh yeah, hasn't the US been at war in active ground combat for the last 8 years? Hmm, I guess when you're in high school & don't really know anything all you can think about is whats the safest or "softer" service; never mind what you find out once you get there!
The fact is, unless this country wasn't engaged in active ground combat, many of those Navy players would be at Army! GO ARMY BEAT THE SAFE SERVICE!
I take offense to that - as a USNA graduate who has served a 15 month tour in Iraq and going to Afghanistan for a yr long tour or more. I've lost classmates and friends who were USNA grades who were serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Please do not drag the war into a time honored tradition that is enjoyed by both cadets/midshipmen and alumni and fans.
