Aspx Tutorial #2 How to host your aspx files

I tried this and it didn't work also.

You need the SQL Server to go along with the ISS and you need to install the framework in the ISS Command Prompt.

I'm just learning this stuff myself... I've installed so much SQL crap on my machine... I don't know what any of it means but my ASPX is displaying in my local host thingy now.

So I see that you can host locally, and that's awsome.

How do host on a website host ftp provider like Godaddy?

Do you then upload the ISS database files to the host provided ftp site?

Is it easier to host the site yourself..but then you have to purchase a server right?

And there's security issues with that etc..

Any help is much appreciated and look forward to future vidios.
