  • aaaaaahhhh bip bip!!!

  • idk why people always try to give these stars titles like Elvis, Bo, and Chuck they were all great in their own right. I never compare them because i enjoy all there music.

  • It makes me realize that I have so much more to learn around the guitar. Bo's tone alone crushes most I've heard. And this charted in the 60's. Amazing! He's the real deal.

  • i like quality

  • i like quality

  • Great song and nice video too man

  • Did Bo Diddley play his ACME guitar on this song?

  • Some of his 50´s chop-rhythm guitar patterns make him an early avatar of funk.

  • Beep-Beep!!

  • I dare someone to find me a sweeter 16 bar blues pattern than this! =D

  • Thanks!!!

  • @no1dejfan I just saw Microwave Dave live last night in Huntsville and he played this song.. It was greay

  • From Brazil

    Very good... nice song.

  • This song has made my day.

  • 17 years old now, heard it when i was like, 4 at a local car cruise, and i can guarantee you, i am the only one in my school with this song on their ipod. i even have the Microwave Dave version too!

  • beep beep

a comment! You have one of my

    favorite Bo Diddley numbers right

here! Nobody could keep up with

that rockin' cat! He'd only take his

guitar, play it and leave everybody

else in the dust (KOFF! KOFF!!)

  • move over hunny, lemme bye, oooooo

  • this has to be one of the coolest songs of all time. many groups have tried to be this cool but no way joe. BO rocks ese!

  • BO!

    BO LIVES meep meep

  • This is a cool video + a GREAT song!

  • If anyone ever finds me listening to rap I want you to shoot me. I'll leave a note for the police letting them know that I told you it was OK.

  • beep beep

  • @smokiebird06 I read that comment often ,I hate todays "flap"just as much as the next man ,still..there are some good things to be found in the mess, like early Cypress Hill,Grandmaster Flash,Stereo MC's.I'm open to every kind of music, as long as it's convincing, and done with soul.

  • @smokiebird06 Hey don't diss rap music please. Bo Diddley was a fine "rapper".

  • @smokiebird06 wery good

  • @smokiebird06 wery good

  • @smokiebird06 don't knock all rap. I can list tons of rap that carries a deep blues soul sound like this with meaningful lyrics. It's unfortunate but all the crappy rap has permeated the mainstream industry leaving good stuff to be discovered at another time.

  • @Grizzly0679 Please name me a few and I'll see whether I agree.

  • @EuropeanAnimation well for starters Tupac is great. Check out, "Changes", "Dear Mamma" and "Do for Love".

If you want more bluesy to the rap the you gotta go Souther Rap but that tends to be pretty hardcore. For that I reccommend Geto Boys, "The World is a Ghetto" or "Blind Leading The Blind"

there is a violent element to their songs, but that comes with the territory. It would be like asking a blues artist not to sing about lost love or being broke.

    For other stuff:

    Dead Prez - Hip Hop

  • Played this version in my 60s garage band. Still sounds great!!!!

  • RIP Bo

  • Proper music

  • Great song - thank you. I also love the concept of nemesisofthedevil called Reggie. Genuis

  • carlsberg anybody?

great song. i always thought pete townsend invented the pickslide.

bo diddley way ahead of the times!

  • Bo Diddley was in first place before the race started.

    A cool one.

  • @clashboy1977 nah i invented the pickslide then i found out bo invented it 58 years before me

  • @theo7491 haha i like it!

  • anybody got a tab for bo diddleys bo diddley

  • One of my favorite tunes of all time!!!! Thank You for posting!

  • Nice... Very Rare Recording... Thanx for the post.

  • That guitar riff is intoxicating !!!!!!!!!!

  • Never heard this one either, Reggie but I always liked Bo Diddley and it's a song you have to move to. I like the colorful effect you added at 1:40 and the cool effects toward the end.

  • Thanks Carol. Just trying to have fun with the song.

  • good usef that guitar gif (lol)

    Never heard this one

    But I like it.

  • The Grandmaster at his best here; my favorite Diddley tune. Even the b-side, "My Story", is great - tells of Bo's tongue-in-cheek rise to fame. He could do so much with that guitar. "Road Runner" was redone later in the mid-60's by the Gants. RIP Bo.
