In all honesty, this is why we should boycott CBSNewsOnline and other "Official" YouTube channels.

Good Grief....I think the slick roads allowed her tires to hydroplane...and allowed her to be pushed so easily . But man, youd think the driver would feel something/vibration in his steering wheel...or the lory feeling funny. Man...angels were with her, thank god shes ok.

reports say she came onto the motorway and tried to get in front of the tanker , he clipped her rear end and she spun into his path. He claims he never saw her or felt anything for about 1 mile then pulled over , found she was ok and wanted to drive off. The police had other ideas. They took his details and sent him on his way !!!!

@porsche62689 that is the same question I ask, why did the truck driver did not stop immediately after hitting the car. this video reminds me of a similar incident where a man with paralysis on an electric wheelchair had the wheelchair handles stuck to the grille and was pushed by the truck for several miles until the truck driver was pulled over by police and noticed the man on the wheelchair stuck in front of the truck.

@porsche62689 well, both incidents have one thing in common, blind spots for truck drivers. people assume there is more view of the road while driving a truck. that is true to a certain point. truck drivers cannot see what is in front and not know if a vehicle or a person is in front of the truck until it is too late.

well i say this by experience i work at a trucking company.

drivers still break the law in order to make that delivery on time.

And im sure this driver did not hear the car because i dont think the tires were screaching.. hello the road was wet.. then add the sound of the road, the truck and the driver "concentrating on his job" all add up to the fact that he did not "HEAR" the vehicle..

While it IS possible that he did not see her there, one can trace a straight line from one edge of the car to the driver's seat though, so I don't know. Maybe he was intending to flee a hit-and-run, as I find it difficult to believe I could slam my tanker into a van without noticing. Though it may be difficult to see or feel, it is not impossible to feel or see and there is little to no chance that I'd not hear it.

Some truckers are assholes, plain and simple. He knew very well that she was stuck on the front of his truck and he more than likely hit her, because she probably pissed him off, for pulling in front of him or something like that. All in all, he didn't know that he was bring video'd, meaning he probably would have crushed her to death, if it came to that. Truckers think they own the highways.
