I’ve had a (left) drifting problem with my Mazda 3 MPS (1st gen )from new. I constantly need to correct it. Its been to 2 Mazda dealers on 4 separate occasions. Even in the right lane where the camber of the road should take you to the right, mine goes left. There is no sign of physical damage nor uneven tyre wear, its had a 4 wheel alignment several times but still no improvement . The Mazda garage has said its just what this spec of car does. Does anyone else experience this with their MPS?

@EnglishSaint1 mate thats just torque steer. it happens with a powerfull front wheel drive. I noticed it straight away i drove one. mazda did try eliminate it with less boost on gears 1 and 2 and limited slip dif.

Oh man... those rotating rims are by far the most ridiculous thing that one can do to a car. It's so silly. About as a cool as wearing a cap with a propeller on top of it. :D

they dont... mazdaspeed 3s only come in hatch. You might have seen a 2.3liter turbod sedan but thats just aftermarket turbo kit. Why would u want one anyway? Hatch is so much sexier

@xXJdrums6Xx Yes, the Mazdaspeed 6 is the sedan/saloon version. It came out in '05 & '06. There is talk that a new MS6 model will be out. Cheers.

Yes, the car is good but this is one of the worst/most boring video of a car I have ever seen. I do have a mazda6 and speed and cars were always my friends but this is almost like they want to bore the people to death with it...until half time nothing happens.. artistic??! It's a joke.. lOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOng white fades..sleepy music...

Most of the time you can't even see the car just a red thing moving on the road, because they show it from the air.. good thing it's not from satellite..

Take it to a track and then you will see why so much power is required. The 3 MPS is a phenomenal car, I was part of the team that did the nurburgring in one on a public day in 8min 39sec (bridge to gantry) and it was pushing past porches and motorbikes. No-one could touch us!

The 2007 MazdaSpeed3 puts out 263hp @ 280 ftlbs of torque . It goes for a Msrp or $30,995 and your insurance will climb to new heights if you are young ( 18 to 25 ). For torque steer you need all wheel drive . Zoom Zoom

It is true that the MPS suffers from torque steer to some extent. Mazda programed the ECU to limit boost in first and second gear so you dont just spin out.

This car has 256hp and 380nm of torque transferred to the front wheels. It is fast in a sort of uncontrollable kind of fast...the 4wd mazda 6 mps with exactly the same engine shows the true potential, but the fwd 3mps is just to insane, i guess...the torque steer must be immense!
