Hell In a Cell was a big deal back then. It used to happen about once a year and meant that a rivalry was so intense, it had to come to an end in the cell and we were guaranteed insane stunts, blood and ass kicking. Now they have a ppv where almost every match takes place inside the cell with little or no build-up. I wouldnt be surprised if a divas match took place inside one, that's how much this match has lost credibility.

this is what a wrestling feud is SUPPOSED TO BE all about. Personal story, epic matches...Its good for HHH, he ends up the winner, and his Evolution run cemented him as THE heel of the attitude era...and HBK got put over like a million bucks. It was basically Shawn vs Evolution for 2 years, and he kicked ass the whole time. I remember the Summerslam match, thinking EVERY hit was destroying him, and then that EC victory...OMFG that may be the best pop he's ever gotten, which is saying A LOT.

I grew up in the Evolution Era, and in my opinion 2002 - 2004 was the greatest period in Raw and WWE history. This rivalry is by far the greatest rivalry in WWE history, it was never about a personal vendetta or some ridiculous grudge, it was all about being hell bent on proving who was the best. Triple H and Shawn put on some of the greatest moments in history, I will never forget their matches at Survivor Series 02, Royal Rumble 04, Summerslam 02, Bad Blood 04 they put on the greatest matches
