  • The heart is desperately wicked and cannot be trusted. Satan masquerades as an angel of light. Truth can be tested, Mormonism has a name for those who tell the truth, about it. Anti-Mormons. Jesus had a name for those who teach a different gospel, like the Mormon church does. Anti-christs. God always tells the truth, and if not affraid of people questioning or looking into His word. Mormonism is a lie, and has much to loose, by anyone questioning or challenging what it teaches.

  • @carterfamily8903 I have nothing to loose by your questions or challenges. Everyone can choose for themselves what to believe. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches the true Gospel. If you do not know that, you could if you humbled yourself and asked in faith.

  • @Choose2Write Actually you have your soul to loose. Beliefs and feelings do not alter in anyway reality. Jesus said He is THE WAY to heaven, not part of the way. He also said there would be those calling Lord, Lord, that He would tell to depart from Him, because He never knew them. Mormonism is a different gospel, with a totally foreign Christ, to the Christ of the Bible.

  • @carterfamily8903 That's your take on the subject.

  • @Choose2Write It is a Biblical take on the subject. The Bible teaches that Christ is God, not a god, that He created all things by Himself. John 1:1-3,14 Isaiah 45:24 Nehemiah 9:6 Job 9:8 Isaiah 43:9,10 and 44:6-8 etc., there are people who believe all sorts of things, but belief does not change facts. Satan has been attacking the word of God since Genesis 3:1 and trying to replace it with something else from Genesis 3:4,5.

  • @carterfamily8903 and I can quote scripture all day long that supports what I believe. Let's agree to disagree. I know what I know...I have studied church history, the doctrine, even anti-mormon thought...I am not ignorant on the subject.

  • @Choose2Write If you have studied, why would you choose to cling to a lie? There is no Biblical verses in context, that support Mormonism. Joseph Smith claimed the egyptian godesses Isis and Maat, were King Pharaoh, and Prince of Pharaoh, on page 41 of the pearl of Great Price. He also claimed the egyptian god Osiris, was Abraham. Don't trust me, look it up. Egyptian was a lost language when Joseph was playing with it.

  • @carterfamily8903 Proverbs 3:5-6

  • I am beyond confident that what I believe is not a lie, but is the truth. I have discussed this with tons of anti-mormons over the 13 years I have been a member. Revelation trumps any claims man can make. Proverbs 3:5-6. This is what will define me. Did I follow what God himself has burned in my heart to be true. This is leaning on God and not the whims of man.

  • Thank You for sharing. It really shows how foolish people are thinking they can use words to try to get us to deny the CLEAR, POWERFUL testimony of the Holy Ghost.

Always remember that feeling of your answered prayer and you will always have a testimony.

  • i am 14 i am a canvert to lds

  • I hope you will be determined to stay in the church and say I am 100 and a convert to the church. Keep the faith. thanks for watching.

  • Very nice. Did your family join?

I was raised Catholic and my parents stopped talking to me for a while.

  • Oh thats too bad. Why did your parents stop talking to you?

  • Because I joined the LDS church. They are ok now. They realized that I just didn't join something crazy. I investigated 5 years before I joined. I was not an easy person to convence.

  • "I was not an easy person to convence. "

it took Brigham Young over two years!

  • Very true. Now I am in the single adult program and it is very interesting.

  • "Now I am in the single adult program and it is very interesting"

lucky for you there are more and more single adults every year as the LDS church continues to grow =)

  • Uh, I am in S.C. Every Baptist wants to bbq me. It is ok. Whateve the Lords will it will be done. Just being in the family ward can be nuts! ;)

  • sorry to hear that, I hope they are friendly with you now. Its funny what people think Mormons believe when they really don't know.
