This is very sad to see, but on the upside maybe the City of Tulsa Owns this property now. does anyone think if this track could reopen that it would be able to sustain its self?? is there a large enough fan base?? and as i have been researching these tracks i noticed Oklahoma only has one paved oval. if a new owner or entity were to wrangle the track and pave it put in new bleachers and services would there be an interest to revive this Tulsa landmark like to hear feed back
Saw the beginning, raced here, drank here, fought here, drive by this place everyday going to and from work. I will never forget those that raced and partied here. I will never forgive those who put this track out of business. What a shame. MiniStock 77,88,99,97, IMCA32, IMCA2,Sprint50,Sprint50Z,Sprint05 are just a few of the cars that I was a part of. Still Great Memories with Videos and Photos. Maybe we will get another Tulsa Speedway.
@jbjones1111 not sure if you got my last reply lol do you think that there would be a large enough fan base to open this track again... paved of course
i used to go out every saturday night to watch the 360s and then the almighty 410s duke it out, i met the world of outlaws drivers, and walked the track...
Damn, sad to see it like that. I was born in Tulsa in 1992 (I'm 17) and remember the speedway when it was in better time. It's amazing to see how fast it's gone down ):
is it still there?

The video from 0:21 to 0:32, (the start of a Factory Stock A-Feature shot from the turn 4 gate) is mine, shows my car, and was shot with my camera.
I uploaded it to my YouTube account.
I do not recall anyone asking permission to use my uploads...
