  • if people werent ignorant and focused on the long run instead of just right now we wouldnt be in this. and stop blaming god he gives us all the resources we need how we use them is up to us, go blame the people who chose to do this, not simple everyday people but the corporal greed

  • This isn't because of Global Warming. This is b/c the water isn't tough like how GWB stood up to the terrorists, it (water) just dries up and evaporates.

  • with technology getting better and the world being 70% water wont we always have ways for distilling, separating and filtering?

  • wonder y the mead reserve has the white ring? its flouride. that nasty stuff they put in water and tooth products because it "aids dental care"

    research flouride - its poisonous.

  • i so wanna hang out with the everglades ranger

  • to be honest am 20 now and my generation and my childerns generation will have the hardest time getting by on this planet...we live in a capitalist society and all the problems here in reality will be there 15 years from now because without money ur nothings that reality and its sad

  • holy balls.. china needs something to curb the growth.. so does the rest of the world.. there are toooo many of us

  • Excuse me thats why we have rain and snow! And I think its served us well all 8 billion of us. God has got us covered. And global warming is bs

  • @puffyclouddd1 well then where is it?

god apparently is saying fuck earth..

how about you do the rain dance and fix the planet for us?

    Moron..

  • @puffyclouddd1 We're 7 billion, you ignorant christtard. And there are no gods or other invisible men out there to help us, so luckily we have science and technology instead. And the scientists observe the fact of global warming, regardless of what ignorant and/or insane conspiracy freaks in America may mumbo-jumbo about: )

  • @winterstellar really?!?! only 7 bil... i thought it was 8 too... wow...

  • @Daevi1 No, we are seven. It's a bit less than a year since we passed 7 billion. The experts in demograpy say it will evenen out an stabilize at some 9 billion evenyually. Still way too much for this poor, old planet, but much better than what a never-ending exponential growth would have led to! : )

  • @winterstellar Christtard lol i love it. YESS!!!!!

  • @puffyclouddd1 If global warming is bs, I'm sure the polar bear population wouldn't be endangered, no?

  • The water has to go some were. the earth dosn't loose it source of water! i dont understand why its not raining there? maybe because of the polution?

  • 19:25 George W. Bush should be classified as a criminal.

  • This kind of massive industrialization that occurred in the West during the 19th and 20th centuries, does not work in the current world. The damage with modern technology and chemicals is just too high. We need to start turning this around in all countries.

  • as george carlin said the planet is fine, its us that are fucked

  • You have around a billion people in china. I think they can afford to have future growth prospects limited.

  • @miStiKredum dont forget we might all die in 2012

  • And China is going to invest money in Canada and take over economically.

  • When there is water scarcity, Canada is gonna be the bowss. And US is going to call Canadian priminister a dictator and then attack Canada for water.

  • @anmo0926 so trueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • I have already prepared for the running out of water for the human race. I have accumulated over 500,000 gallons of fresh water and stored them in my barns. The end may be coming friends.

  • Nuke the world, solve the problem.

  • Their are solutions for this naming two.. desalination plants which turns salt water in clean drinking water, today we have the technology with various separation methods to turn urine into clean drinking water which is already in Italy.

  • @I3renno Do you want to take Mescaline with me and listen to Alien Project's "Deeper" song featuring Motorcycle's "As the Rush Comes" while we do it?

  • everything has a end and you cant stop it, depleteing resources, over population, climate has been changing since the earth was born. . if people are still around the earth is gonna die and go boom.

  • God, I hate hearing about "Global Warming." It's such a damn scam... making us feel bad about living and breathing. Soon they are going to tax us to breathe... its called the "green movement." They are trying to charge us for the levels of carbon (an element essential to life) in our homes or wherever else these evil bastards can think of.

  • they're starving the glades of water...and as they die.. the developers will take over without opposition..

  • there problem is is the peeps...

  • keep cutting down forests, go on, you will see the results... damn it, F**K the human race and its stupidity.

  • i blame pikachu

  • I dont know what the big deal is, just do a rain dance

  • beijing what a fucking shithole.

  • I blame The Republican Party.!

  • @Slayerfan84 hahaha, me too

  • @Slayerfan84 of course they're not really republicans, lol, more like fascists, but anyway

  • where is ll the water going? Into space? Seriously back to the oceans? Will it not then just evaporate and rain more.

  • Wow, china is pretty much same as India; instead of squabbling over land, we should join hands and combat population and pollution problems together...

  • Current, you are a dead cnut. I'll never wath another of your vids, advertisments are the worst form of pollution and waste of time and resources.

  • Arn't there more people on the planet now than ever before? Doesn't the human body contain a lot of water?

  • Hmm, evaporation... capture the vapour, and then condensate. :) Problem solved?

We just need to develop processes that alleviate the pressure we're putting on the system.

  • isn;t it pork barrel spending?

  • We are loosing water, that is drinkable water.

There is plenty of sea water everywhere, but we can't drink that. Fresh water has to be clean, free of bacteria and what not, that is another problem, especially when water is becoming more and more polluted but all the crap we spill in it.

  • search 777alaje on youtube for answers

  • would be hilarious if life starts to be like in Tank Girl

  • maybe birth control would work if these third world countries would use it. A big part of the problem.

  • @reddaisy10 Right on. The 3rd world needs some vagina corks.

  • @reddaisy10 how could you use these types of words . Thats a cheap word to say " Third World Countries". and about the question about population , the only way it gets stable is when the economy's gets developed of the developing countries . Then probably people get more civilized and they get conscious about birth control .

but mind it dude about the word third world contries . hope u get it

  • trash pile??? wow. idiots. didnt think that one through did ya? wtf!!!?

  • there needs to be improvemnts in desalinization methods etc, lord knows there is plenty of sea water out there. think i did read there is improvements happening but still very expensive....

  • @kandiman7979 My country, Malta, relies on desalinization. It works just fine. It's a great idea to turn sea water into freshwater. It's worth it.

  • @Daladun ive heard that desalinization is very expensive and not really efficient, especially with reverse osmosis.... but thats just what ive heard, ive no idea if its true

  • @jpourkav

    expensive do to electricity costs.

yet with throium atomic enery plants

(thorium lasts about 100-500 years without being reprocessed, and thorium is also more plentiful....

let alone we could use the thorium in fast breeders which consume DU,and all sorts of atomic waste.

  • @Daladun

its expensive, and too hard says the critics

yet we went to the moon not because it was easy, but it was hard!

what happened to all that 70s engineering and American spirit!

  • I blame medical advances during the 19th and 20th centuries for our wild population.

  • @tehcexymeowmix I do to- as well as nuclear weapons- they prevent the necessary (and tragic) factor of warfare. Less diseases, world peace- it makes a powderkeg, and the way things are going for everyone, it looks like we've all got matches...

  • @tehcexymeowmix and capitalism systems for the high production

  • hella sad.

  • I think The rich will try to kill the poor and all people they see are ugly or disabled and give a pop limit.. if so their will be a war rich vs poor..

  • Man, I hope the chinese citizens can have a better government some day.... everyone deserves a better quality of life!!! 加油中国!!

  • There is an irony to the people who are effected most by global warming are the ones that usually don't believe in it. lol

  • CANADA has all the water clean water. Their will be a huge war over it one day.

I fear Russia and China and the USA and then everybody else will want Canada.

  • We are losing our resources little by little till there is nothing left and we are screwed.

Our world is slowly dying by a cancer called global warming and this water crisis is just adding on.

We are in trouble and stop saying that we are not because we are!

We need to think about what we are doing each time we do this.

Our world and water and dying slowly and we can stop that.

  • the problem is easy to see. the problem is the extreme profit to be made from the polution of our water supplies. as long as we continue to use a paper money supply system and banks companies stand to profit by poisoning our water than forcing use to buy clean water from the companies. Coca-Cola and Nestle are the number 2 and number 1 suppliers of water in the world. they make billions of dollars a yr. as long as we privatize our water we will be forced slaves to companies. Stop buying products

  • for those who havent visited big cities in mexico, well it looks exactly like the cities showed here

  • WE HAVE OCEANS OF WATER JUST TAKE OUT THE DAMN SALT.

  • @MirageScience

and you think that is that easy?...

  • @darknessb930 He has a point. We do have trillions of gallons in the ocean. The reason why we don't do it now is because we don't have a major water crisis. As soon as the fresh water runs out to where the demand for desalination increases dramatically. The free market forces will solve our problems.

  • @nacholibre48

Yeah... but water stretches across the Earth thousands of miles... taking all the salt out won't be that easy... Billions of dollars is needed for that...

  • @darknessb930 I'm sure you're not stupid... but really??! Nobody ever suggested taking out all the salt of the oceans. I think you misunderstood reverse-osmosis.

  • @Daladun

    Uh... yeah they did...

  • I would think a billion people in one single country would have that effect...scary future ahead.

Unbelievable that China spent 40 billion on the Olympics but can’t find a viable solution to help its rural citizens continue their way of living.

Gotta love the US government…we can build bridges that lead to nowhere and spend 100s of millions of dollars for crap like that.

Funny how at St. Thomas mother nature has returned that area to the way it was before the dam was built 24:39

  • I do not kno for sure but if i am not mistaken, in the case on the chemical infested grage dump, and the untreated, sewage-water river, i do not believe that there are any evironmental agencies of enforcement in Chine like our EPA.

  • THIS IS INTERNET YOU FUCKER....NOT TV IF I WANT TO SEE YOU LAUSY COMMERCIAL I JUST WATC TV,PRICKDUMDUMASSLICKER......

  • Don Coltraine is a badass mofo.

  • Yep and now thanks to BP our see is contaminated to. I don't believe such a disaster can be repaired.

  • This a great video to save the water

Experts are saying that at the year 2025 the hole wold is going to have problems with fresh water we have to save the water

  • @Smithipods yikes that's our lifetime.

  • did that florida bill go back to the house?

  • nothing aganst china I just hate current

  • Comment removed

  • Once governments stop being cheap, they can purify salt-water which there is more than enough of. It's just all about money, like anything else, so a pig, communist nation like China will never have such a system until they one day have a real, democratic government.

  • You ever been to China or lived in a communist country? probably not so you dont know what your talking about, your just spoon fed all the propaganda and misinformation about China

  • massive desalination plants, huge ones like the size of a small city, that will fix that problem. huge job creations will be born from such projects as well as from construction to maintenance to administrative etc. even man made rivers zig zagging this way and that. I've just fixed that problem.

  • where are we gonna get the money for a massive desalination pant?

  • yaaaaaaa,,,,go walmart go

  • in my opinion it seems to me that the major problems that are arising is due to each and every individuals greed to try and comfort themselves in excess this exists in every person which is why communism will never work.

  • @jgirizarry @jgirizarry I agree that it's a closed loop because of evaporation and precipitation. However we need to look at loosing water from the viewpoint of the user. Because of urbanization, water is not retained where it used to be. Because of contamination, water is flowing into places where they become unusable. If you look at groundwater (biggest source of drinking water), it's not so much a closed loop because the timeframe is so large for it to recharge. The issue here is growth.

  • @jgirizarry A closed system recirculating water that is polluted with unnatural toxins.

  • @jgirizarry I totally agree with you on that water recyling. The same goes for other things too. If you dig a hole in a ground - where does that sand go ? Just because it is not in that one place anymore, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it is just placed in other place.

  • @jgirizarry everything was well said, but im just saying, losing, not loosing lol

  • @jgirizarry The water being undrinkable is a large part of the point they were making I think. But, maybe some kind of population control is needed as well?

  • @jgirizarry But isn't only 1% of water currently potable?

  • @jgirizarry I also believe that they were saying that drinkable or clean water is becoming scarce!

  • @jgirizarry really? is that true? because this vid tells me that the polutants are making the water dirty and its becoming scarce?

  • @jgirizarry

    also with distillation processs...

and with more water in space than "dirt"...there are many other alternatives out there we have yet to think of.

  • @jgirizarry I know - the human bladder does not store water nor has the water jumped to the moon. Exaggeration is one of the biggest tools of the fear monger...

  • @darthspeaks blood fool

  • @1Pantikian WTF are you talking about? "Blood Fool"? Explain?

  • @darthspeaks @darthspeaks the human body is mostly water (like 70% or some shit), so if if there are more humans than ever before it makes sense that this could be a cause of there being less available water. you commented that the human bladder doesn't store water; my comment was implying that humans still use up much water because they continuously need to have so much of it in them

  • @jgirizarry although overpopulation is not really a problem. All of the worlds people can live in Australia with a quarter acre of land to themselves. True story brah!

  • Your telling me that on a planet which has 60% of Its land covered in water that where gonna run out of water.

  • only so much of it is drinkable the rest is salt water basically

  • Theres something called distalization and that can turn any shity water into fresh drinkable water.

  • it's called "desalinization" and it's very expensive. poorer countries like in africa can only dream of this process.

    get the facts.

  • The point I make is that the world will never run out water

And Africa Is poor because it is run by dictators

  • i don't think you get it.

we alread pay more for bottled water than gasoline.

only so much is usable. as fresh water dwindles away, it will become so expensive that only the richer nations can afford. thus, leaving the poorer ones out to starve.

  • A) You mite have heard, they something called rain and it replenishes fresh water reservoirs dumb ass.

    B) If bottle water is so expensive then just drink tap water: /watch?v=XfPAjUvvnIc

    C) Bottled water is expensive because people are stupid enough to buy tap water in a bottle.

  • hey, before you start calling names, you're the dumbest of all the asses!

do you think it rains on every part of the world? what about parts of the middle east, asia, and south america? they're lucky if they see 5mm of rain a year. not all fresh water is safe for drinking or cooking. not everyone has access to tap water and they rely on bottled water if they like it or not. you're a real big dumb ass if you watch and listen to penn and teller. ("they're geniuses!" ha!)

  • Well then counties with surpluses of water would sell there water to counties that don't have much water.

    Problem solved though free trade.

Half of Africa is covered by rain forest with vast amount of rain fall.

How can you say that a country which overall rain fall is more then the US, have a lack of water.

The reason for the lack of water in certain parts of Africa is because of corrupt dictators who would rather buy a new jet airplane then builds water pipe lines.

  • i don't think you get it.

you are dumb. first of all, africa is not country, it's a continent. lack of fresh water is just not affecting parts of africa, it's affecting the rest of the world also. green spaces are disappearing, while deserts are increasing around the globe. and, a country like canada with all it's abundance in fresh water.....do you think we are going to ship it all the way to egypt or china? give your head a shake.

    re-educate yourself.

  • Some people try to find solutions instead of pointing out problems.

If you say my solutions don't work then what's your solution to the problem.

and If it's worth it then people will do it.

  • you're not trying to offer solutions.....all you're doing is giving your dim-witted opinion on our "so-called" never ending supply of fresh water. all i was doing was just stating all your wrong points.

before you open your yap next time, you should get your facts straight.

  • Saying that the world is running out of water is like saying that the world is running out of sand.

how can you say that the world is run out of something thats a renewable resource.

  • here we go again, i really don't think you get it.

we are not talking about water in general, we are talking about fresh, drinkable water.

    it is running out.

  • You do know that your saying that the world is running out of something that 531,495,000,000 metric tones of it falls from the sky every day.

  • are you dense?

  • ???

  • LOL

  • the world is fucked. we are all doomed

  • This is such a complex problem. Water conservation is the most efficient solution. It is not unfortunately, the most popular. Farmers get incentives to waste water because it's cheaper. Agriculture is the largest consumer and polluter of water. Imagine world hunger now plus the additional 3 billion people we're expecting by 2050. What a puzzlement...

  • i agree we cut 3rd world countries off... they have become dependent and with america we should eliminate not the hard working people taking other peoples tabs but those who act like they have no common sense and are completely a waste of space and resources.... example the ghetto people which would be a majority of black and hispanics ages 13 to 25

  • Foreigns resist learning birth-control, do you really think they'd "let" us lower world population?

Even when--to be dangerously cliche--the fate of the WORLD is at stake?

It is odd that America takes most the eco-shit, but most the world tries to INCREASE our population, rather than helping us keep the riffraff out, and thus keep our population/consumption low.

Also, doesn't China/India consume WAY more than us? Where's the "Moral Outrage" over that?

  • ban ki moon is the fucking man, i got mad respect for him.

  • PC Liberals at there best...

  • Purify ocean water

  • Yeah cause that won't kill everything.

  • they can make water out of oxygen, i saw this machine they had on pimp my ride, they pimped out this dudes car with a water machine that bottles and labels his own water because he wanted to go back to africa and help them build schools and shit. good man.

  • WOAh! thats pretty cool , thanks for the info

  • Comment removed

  • PORT barrel? come on...it's PORK u idiots...damn...don't u watch this before you post it?

  • wow gators go from 8-9 ft. to 13-15ft., why cant human beings do that?

jesuz krist is so fucking stupid, some one fucking slap him

  • It's the price China is paying for the evit deeds to its neighbors.. FREE TIBET!

  • that would be unwise of us to try and control nature.

you're right we should let shit run its course

the chinese will most probably figure out a way they're the most technologically advanced economy on the planet.

  • We're practically already controlling nature in the sense that we screwed it up, i think what she meant by control nature was putting it back the way it was, and not depending on the Chinese to fix it :p

  • im not sure what you're talking about...

  • I think America needs to stop feeding the Third World and their overbreeders. Then we could cut back on our "wasteful" farms, AND the population would decrease to a sustainable level--Of course, we'd need to secure the borders to make sure they didn't just send their breeding parasites HERE!

  • That's a bit mean, but realistically speaking, yes it is a solution

  • Why is it mean? As long as America keeps feeding the Third World, they'll keep overbreeding, not just demanding, but EXPECTING more and more food, something akin to, "You paid the previous generation, you HAVE to pay us too, else you're a dirty racist".

Mexico uses America as a "relief valve" for THEIR overbreeding. Why should Mexico force their idiots to use birth-control when they can just send the excess here?

We're the world's Humane Society, except we're "not allowed" to kill the excess!

  • It's mean because it's basically sentence for a lot of people.

  • They did it to themselves. These countries don't believe in birth-control, and Africa kicked out the people who knew anything about farming or factories with their cute little revolutions. We've been keeping them alive "artificially" at greater and greater costs to America.

You know the old truism "Give until it hurts"? Well, America's hurting now, AND others keep bitching about how much oil America uses. Farming is the biggest use of oil. If we stop being the enabler, they'll shape up or die!

  • True, but you've still got to admit it's pretty mean, it might be only fair but mean non the less, and I personally wouldn't hate on America if they'd stop feeding third world country's because like you said they did it to their selves, I would have loved to see what would happen if that happened, but I'm afraid there would be a lot of death involved.

  • If it's fair, it's not mean.

I WILL admit that our short-term "kindness" became long-term cruelty: feeding them this long, AND not slipping some kind of contraceptive into the food makes it partially our fault, but THEY didn't have to keep breeding, they didn't have to kick out the farmers.

Their "culture" became, "Breed all you want, America will pick up the tab!"

Like animals people take in and nurse back to health, they became dependent!

  • @EPGAH Here-Here!

Kill off the damn third world. They don't deserve resources if they can't help themselves by stop breeding like rabbits.

  • @ogrish84 its everyone's fault! there is no pointing fingers in this situation! everyone needs to be part of the recovery effort or we are all going to die. simple as that.

  • and you stupid bitch in video the solution is not to try to control nature, its to stop destroying her and letting her take her course

  • the population of the world needs to be reduced below one billion now, it may already be too late to save the planet. im sure the military is going to unleash an engineered virus since the traditional method of going to war wont work

  • @eb352mm um, no. The planet could probably support 4 billion with a complete change of lifestyle. In any case, NOONE has the right to dictate who lives and who dies. remember, with a reduction that extreme, you`ll probably not be one of the survivors.

  • @eb352mm The scary part is that what you said might be true.

  • @eb352mm population control. stop making more than one baby.

  • @eb352mm

i lol'd so hard. damn fear mongerers

  • @eb352mm you should write a movie script for that. It seems like a good idea.

  • @eb352mm YA Dude, and i bet it will kill everyone who does not live in India, since they got about 1bil people it should resolve the issue right?

  • cant we just make our own water using oxygen and hydrogen?

  • That would be too easy :P

  • ...Things just don't appear out of no where, including molecules, so the only way we could make it is by taking those molecules from somewhere else, so when you figure where we could get a mass source of oxygen and hydrogen that we don't need, then may i pls be the first you let know ? ^^

  • FREE LAURA LING! CONSERVE WATER TOO!

  • Comment removed

  • Dont worry, you can always import water from overseas.

Or you could build a time masheen and get water from some time when there was more water.

  • wow ! youre a genius man ! why U.N never thinked about it ?

is youre comments a joke or youre really retarded ?

  • =)D

  • or you could get a dictionary and learn to spell MACHINE lol

  • i think masheen in spelled machine =D

  • Water purifying plants, problem solved. plus we have the same ammount of water as earth had when human life came to be.

  • Y'know what looking at all these comments with countries attacking one another and some people saying this is bullshit and some people saying it isnt, maybe Current should disable comments. Anyhow, stop blaming eachother and start making a fucking difference. There are ways we can stop this - If you stop writing fucking hate comments.

  • START A NEW SYSTEM!!!! GATHER FOOD START A FAMILY OR COMMUNITY, PICK A GOOD LOCATION! HOSTEL CAFES CALLED AREA CODES AND SILENT HARMONY SYMBOLS ARE PLACES OF LOVE AND TRUST!!! Pay attention to this "change" Listen to the american idol winners song.....

  • Figure out how to compress water and you will save lives and make money.
