I don't know why everyone says it's so amazing he was unharmed. He took what....maybe 5 or 6 hits total? The rest is all flipping in mid-air. No contact whatsoever. He's strapped into the car safe and sound...so he's just along for the ride. It just looks worse than it really is.

I'm sure he had more than a black eye, it was probably blood vessels breaking around the eye from sudden head movements. He probably had bruises as well. He was swinging violently in the car. The 5 point harness probably forced up against his body. I was in my first real racing accident much less violent than this and I couldn't sleep that night because my stomach smashed up against the harness buckle. This is a hella crazy short track, that's a lot of banking. 140 is fast for a little track

Well then youve got the physics wrong here.

The yellow car in some way pushed the white's back to the left (right from our view), wich forces the white car to turn clockwise leading to drive to the right (our left) "pushing" the yellow and blue to the right (our left).

The effect is a bit the same as in a PIT wich police officers perfom in chases to spin a suspects car out.
