Ha, no. Harmonix (the company that makes Rock Band) made Guitar Hero 1 & 2 and Rock the 80's. Then (I forget why) Activison got the Guitar Hero brand and have been milking the franchise since then. In the time Harmonix made Rock Band 1 & 2 and the Beatles, Activison made Guitar Hero 3, 4 ,5, Aerosmith, Metallica, and Greatest Hits AND they still have Van Halen on the way! Not to mention the spin-off games like Band Hero and DJ Hero!!
