those front lights are really old and ugly now. Acura should have put led lights on there. This car is gonna bring down the presitge of owning an acura, since a lot of ppl will have it now lol
Its a TL + a Civic with a RL ass and a TSX soul. Get over the mix and enjoy the fun the little bitch should pull out. I just hope the TSX stays around long enough for them to get the RDX's old 2.3 ( De-bored K24a3) Turbo4 in it and maybe a SH-AWD and then some good suspension tuning and bigger brakes.. I'm guessing that would b a TSX Type-S model! <3

No it is not. It is the 2013 ILX...I work for Honda Manufacturing of Indiana, and I actually installed the SRS myself. It is a great vehicle and customers WILL NOT be disappointed!
@ndbaseball16 is it as small as the tsx or is it more like the size of the TL? i have a 10 TL and love the size, tsx is way too small for me. The 2.4L engine seems like it will be slow :(
@Thamac15 It is just a little smaller than the TL but I know it is definately bigger than the TSX if that gives you any idea. I know it has been released to the public, but under contract from Honda, I am not allowed to give out much information
@Thamac15 Also, the 2.4L is almost the same motor that is in the Honda Civic SI...which in Honda terms, that is the sports car with more power, more "get up and go" so to speak. The ILX has all leather interior, and a pushbutton start....also the sound system is connected with streaming music from Pandora.
@Shuffle3956 you are a tad bit discombobulated. I never said i wanted it to be the size of a tl or a tsx. I ASKED if he knew what size it is in regards to the tl and tsx. It's ok, average intelligence and comprehension isn't for everyone.
@ninjaman989 I am not exactly sure on the official release date just yet. Rumors are spreading about this year and early next year both. We ran 2 ILX's Monday the 9th and 2 more today, Tuesday the 10th. Those 4 cars are being shipped back to Japan for crash testing, and then corporate will give us the OK to start mass production. Mass production is scheduled to start sometime between April-July, depending on how the crash tests in Japan go.
@ndbaseball16 That's great. Hope sales start this year, seems this car's going to be quite a home run for Acura. One thing though and it's killing me, since you have already seen the production version of the car, heck even had a part in assembling them, please you have to let me know! Will the ILX have the same dual-tier dash as the civic?
@ninjaman989 No it will not have the dual-tier dash. If you go to Acuras website, click on future vehicles in the top right. Then click on the Acura unveiling video in the bottom right of the screen. Go to the 16 minute mark of the video where it starts with the ILX unveiling....then if you fast forward to the 19 minute mark you are able to see the front interior of the car
