  • This is AMAZING.

I can't tell you how much I love this video.

Showed my ASL teacher, he fell in love!

    Keep it up!

  • WOW I LVOE ITB DO MORE YES!!!!!!!!!

  • i can do better

  • IM DEAF FOR ALMOST ALL MY LIFE. I'VE BEEN IN HEARING WORLD. I RAISE READING LIPS, SIGNING IN SEE. I HATE ASL SO FREAKIN MUCH! THEY ARE SO CONFUSING! I HAVE SOME FRIENDS THAT IS USING ASL BUT I WILL NOT NEVER TEACH MY FAMILY ASL! THEY ALL ARE HEARING BUT THEY KNOW I HATE ASL LOL. SO THEY STICK TO SEE OR HOME SIGNING LANGUAGE

  • i think songs are alot better in ASL...im getting into ASL cuz im datng a deaf woman..so i gotta learn realy quick!!! lol

  • I like the lip sync because I learned to read lips before I began learning to sign :)

  • fantastic! I run the BSL show choir at my school (Elmfield School for Deaf Children) in England. We just did our first full show! I'm going to put this song in th next show!!!

  • this is so sweet! great job!

  • I'm taking ASL I, I feel so good that I can understand the signs without sound. I'm hard of hearing and I have to use hearing aids. Thank you guys for this! <33

  • That is how deafie signing when they r singing.

  • :))))))))) THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!

  • loved the song and the lip synching!!!

  • One more comment, the two performers are - I am sure - Deaf, themselves. I think it was a great effort at inclusivity, with two communities... new to each other, right? .... the Deaf world and the hearing one.

  • @signlaw We are both hearing, but thank you for the compliment :)

  • @teetz18 yes we are =) i miss it so!!

  • This was a great job. The "lip syncing" was obviously for the benefit of the hearing audience (who this would mostly be for), so they could follow the signs with the words they hear. BUT some Deaf DO rely on simcom (signing and lipreading) delivery and many do not - there is certainly not just one kind of Deaf person. It was Disney's attempt to be inclusive. Check out BIG RIVER (DeafWest Theater), for a different kind of inclusive theater experience.

  • WOOOW!!! LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! <33333

  • first of all, in training for asl, we are trained to lip sync.. i understand not all deaf read lips but some do so to do it anyway, especially if you do not know your audience... I work with many deaf and I know who does lip read and who does not... but I lip sync anyway... since I am not an interpreter and do not turn on and off lip sync easy.. also theater interpreting must be more visual... for deaf in the back to see the signs..not all deaf sit in the front row..and many people at shows

  • how come there shaking their hand around so much

  • AWW DAT WAS SO KiiUTE!

  • AWWWwww dat was so cute!!!!!!!

  • There's something I've always been curious about: So there's American Sign Language (ASL) but the signs we use here in America, is it the same in other countries as well?

What I mean is, would, say, people in France use the same sign language as America or do they have their own sign language based on their own language?

Did that even make sense? I;m sorry if it didn't :-/

  • @TheMadWrldEffct Hi !

No. As the name says it's American Sign language, it's specific for American speech.

I'm portuguese, so I'll explain using the example of LGP (Língua Gestual Portuguesa/Portuguese Sign Language). If I went to the USA I could use LGP, but most of the signs are differently made (some are still a bit similar, but other are totally different). =)

    Hope it was useful!

  • @Sarinneverland Yeah that was useful thanks =D

  • @TheMadWrldEffct langage gestuelle française it's the french sign language. =)

  • I am deaf... this is funny with lip syncing hahaha

  • great video, only thing i didnt like was the ending cuz it could have been a little slower but otherwise very cute

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE

    asl + disney = AMAZING <3

  • I am deaf and i honestly think they did a fantastic job. I haven't seen want this comes from from though. Does anyone else know.

  • @club1534 Aladin :)

  • omg this is great

  • This is super! Got me smiling all the way till the end. AWESOME.

  • aladdin 1:08 1:32.

  • very good!

  • Beautiful!

  • Wonderful expressions! I enjoyed this very much. I have a great love for Sign Language and being a part of the deaf community and i LOVE this video!

    Thank you! :)

  • to Alixinthemiddle: Lip Syncing doesnt matter to deaf people, as long as the deaf understand the song, being signed to them. i would know since im deaf!

  • this is one of my favorite songs! *tears up*

  • wow that was wonderful

i wanna do something like this.

  • kool!

  • that was heartening. so cute. you go guys!! so amazing.

  • ASL is not the same word formation as the song so she has to sign according the the sign language formation (:

  • thats what the whole point is! They are signing not SINGing SIGNing for people who are deaf / the hearing impaired.

  • Hard of Hearing is a better term for hearing impaired...

  • Deaf people don't rely on lip syncing. As long as they get the whole song through their language, they're good. I should know. I'm Deaf myself. :)

  • @bwaycraz3d84 i they werent lip syncing they are actually singing the song.

  • @surfinsarah22 That wasn't my point, though. I was merely pointing out to the comments about people lip syncing and how "important" it is to the Deaf community. I don't rely on lip syncing when I see a sign language performance. What I rely on are the signs & the expressions. Maybe some Deaf people do rely on lip syncing, but for the most part we rely on expressions & emotions as well as the signs and how they flow together.

  • @surfinsarah22 they werent singing the song look at the end at 2:15 and ull see that they have stopped singing so its not them

  • @Victoryxox oh okay then they are very good at lip synching.

  • @bwaycraz3d84 I'm not trying to be mean in any way but how do you listen to music if you are deaf is it the vibrations and the waves are just the heart telling you

  • @pogo506 He/She probably feels the vibrations and watches the signs since they don't hear the music.

  • It's not about actually lip synchronization....

Its about understand the expression and gestures!

  • she didn't even need to lip synch!

so stop complaining!.......sorry for freaking out.

  • @mckena135 lip synch is alright. cos it not her voice anyway, and she is acting out the drama. I find the whole thing alright.

  • aww... dat was really beautiful. love the facial expression and clear signing 2!!

  • aw their costums are pretty!

  • thats probably the cutest thing ever :)

  • My thoughts exactly.

  • omg. we just performed aladdin for our high school and ive had this song stuck in my head. and im learning asl. to see them both is AMAZING.

  • that was amazing!

    :)

  • i think the girl rejected his kiss lol

  • I love this song. One of my most favorite. It was a definite treat to see it in ASL.

  • Oh that was so beautiful....

  • This was great signing. It was said with so much feeling and expression. I loved watching it, keep on signing!
