you can find translations of almost all of their songs if you just google for it. Keeping in mind that some albums lyrics and songs are just "gobbledigook" so to speak. Just sounds that jonsi makes up to complement the music.
One of the best bands around today. They play so from the heart. In june I'm going to Iceland, and I'm so looking forward to driving around this country with Sigur Ros on the cd player. Here in Belguim which is 3 times smaller then Iceland we are living with rougly 11 million people compared to Iceland which has around 300,000 people. Space, space, space. Can't wait!
Awesome! I'm heading to Iceland in June also - for the big Sigur Ros / Bjork show ... I'm staying for a week and going to try and see as much as I can see while there ... Heima DVDs did me in - I must go!!!
Hey man, like your additude towards Iceland and Sigur Rós wich is my favourite band for sure, I'm from Iceland and I've got tips for you my friend, when you come here get a travelling map, and write this down cause this will help you enjoy my country, first of all everyone has to visit Blue Lagoon, thats just a few miles away from the airport, visir when you come or go. Visit Gullfoss and Geysir, Þingvellir, Dettifoss, and if you are loaded, try and find a snowmobile company and visir Vatnajokul
I'm so moved by their music it's ridiculous! Bravo to see them getting involved in defense of such beautiful place in the world, against the interests of greedy capital.

wouldve sounded better if they gave jonsi a Martin than some second rate shit seagull guitar to play with. a top rate musician desrves top rate instruments in my opinion.
Its not up to anyone to give him a better guitar. He's rich enough to buy another one if he wanted it. Obviously he thinks his guitar is good enough. I haven't heard anybody complaining about the sound in the albums... where he used an Ibanez.
this was for when they didn´t want a road to be built through alafoss, right? that red shirt jonsi´s wearing, is it the save alafoss one? did they win that protest?
Kind of incredible, they really have not played that song since 1999, as far as I know of their recorded performances. Pretty good, but Kjartan missed a few notes.

the lyrics suck, i looked them up. If I could understand what he was saying while he was singing it then it wouldn't be amazing like it is.
