Most gays ive heard or talked to tell stories about deep emotional abuse before they "discovered they were gay". Often it includes molestation and being socially persecuted for not measuring up to their gender stereotype.

@ulfgundarsson Especially considering that the same reason people are now accepting homosexuality is because of the horrible pain they have endured as a group throughout history at the hands of those who feared and misunderstood them. The same reasons black people are seen as equal to white people (which they are) and are not discriminated against. What reasons do YOU have for not agreeing with homosexuality? (oh and you know how sodomy works, you'll how the anatomy of it works)

@ulfgundarsson You're right to say that just because a majority accepts it doesn't mean it's right. Again to site history, slavery was acceptable in your country 200 years ago, as was the discrimination and persercustion of black people. And in fact throughout History the it has been accepted by most 'civilised' societies to outlaw/condemn homosexuality, why is it then you are happy for use to change some of our long held morals and not change others?

@ulfgundarsson I see I have stepped across the line a bit. I apologise if I've offended you. You've pretty much answered my questions so I'll answer yours. I'm not trying to prove anything, nor am I trying to convince my view is right. Also I'd like to respond to this challenge of conformity, I said previously that because the majority thinks it doesn't make it right (or indeed true) my tolerance towards gay people more out of a personal moral choice, not what society tells me to think.

@ulfgundarsson Also I think you're right about sexual promiscuity, and in all nations it is a problem. But I think you need to widen your graze a little, if you do know your stuff on AIDs you'll know that symptoms of it aren't detectable when you first get it (at least not to the person affected) so in fairness alot of people don't realise just how far they are spreading the disease with their actions

@ulfgundarsson Africa is a very messed up continent in lots of ways, corruption and lack of will to improve sanitation for the citizens is one of the more major reasons for AIDs in africa rather than just sexual promiscuity (which is a larger problem for AIDs spreading here). I'd like to move away from this topic though, a little daunting methinks.

@skoaile There are perfectly good biological reasons for why there are two genders. God had nothing to do with it. On top of that, humans are one of about 500 species of animals that engage in homosexual behavior. There's nothing unique or unnatural about it.
Of course, for some reason, humans like yourself are the only species on the planet that insist homosexuals are somehow defective or of less worth.
