  • RCTV SI!!! CHAVEZ NO!!!

  • Chavez is a communist dictator!

  • Venezuela de el futuro >>>> la Cuba de hoy.

  • HE IS A COMMUNIST, and now he is doing what it is expected for him to do as a extreme leftist, part of this is shut down all dissident thinkers so everybody thinks exactly as he wants, seals clapping all togheter at once when the great leader ask them to do so. Sad

  • Now Where is the OAS? Where's Mr. Insulza to defend de Democracy... thats why latin America dont progress....

  • Tha Mr Insulza cannot do anythin', cuz Chavez didn't shut down anythin', these radio stations were transmittin' without a contract, or a permission to do it. But tha media says whateva it wants to say, but dont say tha truth.

  • And Who says so? a Ministry that most do Everything (also the way of dress) that a president says? please Venezuela is already a Cuba. NO FREEDOM...

  • Lol. What can ya say 'bout Venezuela or Cuba? ahh ye, you say what ya hear in TV or radio stations. How can ya say that Venezuela has no freedom, tha political opposition owns tha media, n' they say everyshit they want. As I said ya, these radio stations were closed cuz they didn't tha legal permission to transmit. Turn off yar tv, n' we are proud to be the next Cuba.

  • "we are proud to be the next Cuba" I don't has to read anything else, if somebody wanna commited suicide, let him...

  • I will stop replyin ya cuz, I think I would waste my time if I start a discussion with ya. Ya don't know anythin' bout cuba, only what ya hear on radio n' tv, man, ya must start a real life, to know whats happening in tha world, n' stop talkin'/writin' shit.

  • jajaja Ok... dont worry is easy to realize that Cuba is the Best Country on earth and Venezuela the second... lol.

  • yeah go to cuba and live and don"t forget to bring your toilet paper

  • jajaja no i wont. i will let it for Fidel. lol

  • In Venezuela it is being done by force and the people are actually protesting. That is a freedom to protest. In the US the government enacted legislation under Collin Powell's sons control of the FCC to deregulate the media and allowed companies to control even larger shares of the media. Which is worse? Are they not the same? Did anyone protest that in the US? They probably did but the media didn't show it on the 5 O'Clock news or the New York Times.

  • Its far worse. In the U.S. the media is operating under the free market (for the most part). They are not regulated by political viewpoints and anyone with the resources can open a radio station or similiar outlet. Infact, there were numerous radio stations that regularly criticized President Bush as well as President Obama and not a single one has been closed based on political leaning. Supporters of Chavez love pointing at the U.S., well in this case the U.S. is superior.

  • I agree with you some media has been bought off, specially in the USA because it is filled with shallow, bourgeoise, coffe table, wealthy, 1rst world self -proclaimed communists ! (not real ones!!)

  • This is f... unbelievable. The fact that people like you believe that what is happening in my country is a revolution and that Chávez is some kind of justice seeking "Zorro", is f... UNBELIEVABLE.

It makes me less sick to hear Mr. O´Reilly in Fox news, than listening to you false leftists, at least he is an "honest to god" right winger who doesnt claim to be worried about third world misery, as you second rate "leftists" do.´So we 3rd world people know exactly what to expect...

  • I have no idea how your comment is response to mine.

  • Are you calling breathing on gas "freedom to protest? Are you saying that we venezuelans must tolerate abuse by our governments just because you americans take abuse from yours?

  • I quote myself: In Venezuela it is being done by force and the people are actually protesting. That is a freedom to protest. Did anyone protest that in the US?

Venezuelans are doing exactly what Americans don't do and that is protest. But even when we do it is not shown on tv.

  • Tha media attacks Chavez, cuz Chavez is proposin a system of government most appropriate to our society. Why they don't show the protests against the government of U.S? Your government is defendin the same interests as the media, and vice versa. These interests are based on capitalism, advertisin and consumerism. And for them there is nothin more important than money. They don't matter if the society complain, they will only show what is profitably for them. Think 'bout it.

  • Closing stations that express opposing opinions, typical Communist tactic.

This is the guy that Sean Penn, Danny Glover, & others support: a guy that does crap like this.

The Americans that support Chavez want THIS in America? This is the great SOCIALIST way that we are supposed to imitate?

Pay attention: This is why freedom lovers don't want Socialism in America.

  • Socialism inevitably turns into facism. It may take a while but it always does.

  • Socialism turns into fascism? What tha hell you said. Know ya what means fascism?

Fascism was the U.S. invasion to Iraq, Fascism was the slaughter of Israel to Palestinians, Fascism is tha U.S government. How can you say that Socialism is facism? Socialism is tha voice of latin america, is our uprisin' to bring down tha poverty that capitalism has left.

  • hmmmm its not difficult to guess which country will soon follow this type of radical tyranny

  • rupert murdoch's wet dream.

  • totally agree... Venezuela is becoming the next Cuba
