@dkbiker6969 Big bore kit, larger carb, rejetting, filter and exhaust. That could run you around $150 to $500 depending on what you prefer and how you shop. You could also go the free route and lighten the load on the scooter and yourself. Tires as well.

You need to check with your state's DMV to see what the law is regardign a 50cc scooter. This is not a moped to me, goes faster than 30mph, but some states may consider it that. Texas does not, you will need a Motorcycle License to ride it as far as I can tell. It is around 5 hp and hits around 35-40mph. Mopeds usually 2 hp and hits 30mph.

@ntrudr800 anything of 50cc and under doesnt require a m license dude.. he can mod it all he wants but it still is 50 cc which is legal.

Lotta states don't require tags or insurance for under 2 horsepower, 49cc top speed 30 MPH. Last time I checked, only North Carolina didn't require a DL at all, and Virginia didn't require one IF you were at least 15 and yours wasn't under suspension/revocation. YMMV. Some states require pedals, some don't. Other states limit speed to 25 mph, others allow more CC's.

You'll need a regular driver's license in most states, but not a motorcycle endorsement if it's 50cc and below.
