  • Ugandans should be aware that there can never be any thing like no fly zone in uganda like in

Libya, this jet will be firing rocket on civilians soon and the world will witness a mascare from Africas most drunk dictator.

  • What a waste of money! I could build you a paper plane thats better than those Russian crap planes!

  • @Blackcherubim I highly highly doubt that :)

  • @liquidvmusic They can’t even build ship or sub right!

  • @Blackcherubim borei class, akula class, lada class, kilo calss, delta class, yasen class subs, kirov battle cruiser, varyag clacc, stereguschi stealth class, fuck you dick head

  • @MadMax1945XXX2 Why Conrad, why you got to be so mean?

  • @Blackcherubim because you are stupid

  • I apologize for insulting Russian arms because the USA has fucked up equipment far beyond Russia’s!

  • @Blackcherubim

IT'S ALL ABOUT MARKETING WAR, DEATH & DESTRUCTION MACHINERY.

Russia or USA are far more interested in making arms of any kind & selling the arms to ANY FOOL who can afford to exchange the national treasure to military toys & wage-wars.

WHO CARES FOR THE DEAD FISH ???

  • uganda is the biggest shit hole after somalia

  • @simbakafiri usa is

  • its ok we have f22's to blow them out of the sky.

  • I think they already crashed one of the jets a few weeks ago even though the military steadfastly denies it. Eye witnesses say otherwise. That money could have fed northern Uganda for a decade.

  • There all starving and need water and they buy jets? What dumbasses

  • 6 jets at the expense of million's of starving children??? who are you gonna fight with 6 jets....??

  • Most of the people in here are white people who believe africa can't fend for itself.... Your western aid is bullshit. It is just a way for you to instill your political bullshit on Uganda and other poor African nations. The reason why they are poor s becaus they are in debt to the west from independence granted since colonization. They cannot feed their people and then pay the white man... For get you russia and China fair traders the west is NOT

  • @cooldudecs lol Africa shouldn't be buying military planes which are more advanced than the country itself. Maybe building schools will help bring the country out of the shit, but the corrupt dictators you put in power seem more concerned about getting their dirty hands on all the cool toys the whites and asians have.

  • @Atrollin2 In order for Africa to prosper it must have robust military forces. All those proxy wars in Africa are a function of poorly funded defence forces. The benefits of good security are mostly indirect and are not always immediately apparent. Uganda’s economy is most likely going to grow steadily as a result of that purchase.

  • @Phuzekhemisi It's going to be Ugandas way of increasing its influence in the area. Maybe if they're used to destroy the rebel groups going round pillaging peoples' homes then the money might be well spent... but they probably weren't bought with the peoples well-being in mind.

  • @Atrollin2 The SU30mki is a very sophisticated weapon system. It’s probably the most superior jet on the African continent. As far as maneuverability and avionics aspects are concerned. South Africa and Egypt don’t have anything remotely comparable. Uganda’s purchase suggests that it is subject to numerous asymmetric high level threats.

  • @Phuzekhemisi Or the government just wants some nice new toys to play with... Jets as advanced as these don't belong in Africa, because the continent isn't ready for them yet. $1.2bn dollar. Lets say a really modern school costs $1m to set up, then they could have build 1,200 of them. Uganda better be on the brink of war to ave spent so much money on Russian planes.

  • @cooldudecs I'm sorry but your African leaders are bullshit. Don't blame the white man for everything.

  • @cooldudecs do you not have anything to say about this dictator buying jets while his people live in poverty?

  • that's great, uganda let's it's people starve and spends it's money on russian tools of war.should'nt uganda worry about feeding their people before they inrich Russia's military industrial complex?

  • I know this is youtube & anything(s) one or more say(s) is/are not going to change:

Well... there them puppets go, u see Africa? You got no leaders!! Revolt from corruption & white dominated principles(be dependant), refuse aid & be self sufficient by stopping the raw materials & minerals, build factories & join the world through industrialization like China & India. Mobilize your people's education in to a high standard yielding production and profits. Disallow to be guests at your homes...

  • Yes! Buy tanks in Russia!

  • museveni just wants to stroke his ego, he was bullying the peaceful kenyans the other day who's wise president just ignored this bushman. he can barely control Uganda - paranoid as hell, we kenyans have heard these neighboring dictators threatening us occasionally, but they always just fade away while we make more money & babies in peace. this one too will fade away, fighter jets won't keep him in power forever.

  • Oh sorry Mother Uganda! Museveni what are you doing? How can you really arm these poor and hungry people? Poverty is killing us, diseases, even minor insects such as jiggers are killing us, Malaria, HIV and AIDS! we don't have medicine in hospitals, even clean water in some parts of the country, look at hungry children in Northern Uganda they live for today they don't even have a home. Look at the number of children begging on our streets. Mighty God never sleep

  • Why the Hell do we "need" fighter jets when we have people dying because they dont have food??? Must be very selfish and bad intentions behind those jets!

  • The Russians are just like the irresponsible Chinese- they sell to any asshole without any conscience. At least some western countries woulda told em spend it on health or education or else you lose our aid.

  • Comment removed

  • This is further evidence that these so called African leaders are installed by the powers that be which have a vested interest in keeping the entire continent backward and in poverty. What we see in these leaders are basically traiters those who have sold out to the global elites who keep them in power as long as they obey the dictates of their masters.

  • Well understood bro! Africa is doomed either way, whether we allow this aggression or whether we take actions the Europeans meant business with bad intentions(scramble for Africa continues) don't matter how good our candidates are, the minutes they get elected *swiss bank* craving kicks in & all those patriotic promises slowly fade away. Even if you get God-sent miracle African self-confident leaders who have no harm for no one... they WILL assassinate'm (Malcom X & Martin Luther King Jr), Evil!

  • Ugandan's, you need to know that in this world, you are on your own. You impose pain and suffering on yourself. You create problems you cannot take care of. Remember, God helps those who help themselves.

  • Even if Uganda manages to find enough money to buy these jets I wonder if they have the men that will be needed to fly and maintain them. After all it takes years and lots of money to train the sort of men that are needed. I wonder if the Ugandan educational system is up to it. Or perhaps mercenaries will be employed.

  • poorest country in the world my dirty ass

  • Have some sympathy ... for the devil

"I rode a tank, held a generals rank, while the Blitzkreig raged and the bodies stank"

Evil is rising around the globe

  • Nothing wrong with that, let them buy.

  • I don't like to See western military In my continent. Western armies have no braincell to think critically if what they about to do is wrong or right. They just do it blindly in disregard if they killing innocent people or not.

  • This is insane. Whom is Uganda under threat from?

  • .......Many Countries have Armies but all too many Armies Have Countries....

  • Uganda will be the next superpower. side by side with China, India, Pakistan, Brazil, Samoa...

  • Stupid Idi Amin desendant apes, trying to get the upperhand on air superiority over tanzania and the Congo.

  • Newscaster looks like Asian... (but this is Uganda)

  • It looks like they the government of Uganda ,would direct Uganda's sparse resources to the nations infrastructure...Clean drinking water, sewers, and roads.???

  • @ClarksonsinUSA I couldn't agree more.

  • it's unbelievable...

  • why SU-27? why not T-50 PAKFA if they buy stuff its better to buy latest of ruskies tech

  • @keiweak `PAK-FA and su 35s. are not for sale. Russian air force only.

  • @coll565 India is getting some too, because they helped Russia make the PAK-FA

  • @BusinessKi11ER no. FGFA for india. pak-fa is Russian project.

  • @coll565 oh right, sorry

  • @keiweak do they have the money? i dont think so..... Besides PAK-FA ain't ready yet.

  • they are many hunger in Africa and still buying Military Aircraft ? by the way, do they have water pipe on their household ?

  • @moistfaucet YES!

  • Correction: 6.78% of their nominal GDP. My calculations were based on purchasing parity.

  • Ouch. That's 2.84% of their national gross domestic product. That doesn't seem much, but in comparison to some other countries, that's pretty high. And only for 6 jets. What about training costs? missiles? fuel? maintenance and repair?

  • its intended to attack kenya. museveni wants the kenyan port and he knows kenya has a week airforce

  • African leaders have no idea of what life i meant. you can't lead the people when you not from from the people.

all African leaders are from the bushes or villages where you can find any educated persons. how would they be leaders of the peoples eh? answer that one.. that country has no roads either and they want to spend $1.2 billion of war planes? its a jock.. tell them to ask Col Gaddafi what he hard

  • $1.2 Billion would have help build a sophisticated infrastructure to benefit the citizens. But no, egos get in the way of progress. When you have a sizeable portion of the populace living in poverty and a country spends that much on warplanes that will be collecting dust in a hangar somewhere is despicable.

  • @magellanmax They didnt buy the planes, because Russia tried to exploit the situation by seizing all oil fields from Uganda. They declined the deal, second of all u need to be able to defend yourself from Egypt.

  • @DivertNileRiver So what is the current situation? Is the plane deal off completely or has been relegated to a barter deal.... oil for planes?

  • @magellanmax Its scrapped, the ugandan airforce decided to refurbish and ugrade their existing stock of MiGs, the oil discovered in Uganda is one of the biggest in Africa. They'd be swindled if they were stupid enough to go through with the previous deal.

  • Lord have mercy on my poor country and its narrow shallow minded dictators

  • @dwanzi007 Ask yourself why all the stable countries have very competent armed forces? In order to maintain peace one must prepare for war. The sophisticated military hardware merely serves as a strong deterrent. Uganda has done the right thing, I may add

  • kenya will still be the east africa power house.

  • Sometimes when i write a comment, i get the response'' pending aproval''. I wonder what kind of comments are dis-allowed here. This comment page is full of racist remarks and defamations of all kinds. How did they get passed what ever filter YOUTUBE has in place. May be we should now use OUR words to. Yeah! we do have quite a few.

  • niggers cant even fly palnes

  • @PFRjerzacmex...Yes they can, you racist bastard.

  • Help the poor before we head to the skies. This is not acceptable. Millions of Ugandans are starving. Spend the money on roads, housing, and creating new jobs before you purchase these bilion doller jets. M7!, this is a nooooooo, nooooooooo. Oh! my God help the poor.

  • shame

  • Africans once a mighty people on Earth, Phraohs, Kings, today reduced by the white man to 10 year old boys! Mentally, Spiritually still enslaved by Europeans, copying all the evils of the european cave man. Buying Jets, with no hospitals, No medicine, very poor schools, No universities that train people to build things, very poor roads, no trains, No industry to speak of. Still controlled by white people!!! When will the black man wake up from this very childish state of mind?

  • @truthadvance Never, because they're all a bunch of stupid niggers

  • @truthadvance They won't because of people like you who point the finger of blame on anyone else and escape your responsibilities. If you keep letting thug leaders like Museveni who critisize the west, europe, usa, china, and russia, and then turn around and sign deals with foreign oil companies and spend millions and billions on weapons just because the offers are too good to refuse, then what do you expect. Fight for your equality. Your leaders keep their pockets fat while you suffer.

  • buying military jets while your people die of ignorance and poverty! Is there any intelligence in the Ugandan leadership. 1.2 billion could build state of the art hospitals in that region, with some spare change.

Those aircraft can be destroyed in seconds by hand held missiles.

  • The nation state is a European concept it does not work for Africa. Africa should be one nation and pull all resources together and throw the Arab Khadfi out as head of the African union the guy is a freakin Jihadists Arab nationalists. Africa should be a mecca where both Christians and Muslims can exist under one African nation. These arms deals are only excalting because of Russian and Chinese expansion in Africa.

  • This is stupid!

  • @PROSVCHOST it called illusions of grandeur!!

  • oil money at work its very sad

  • THATS IT NEVER Will I take my money again trying to help a child in ned in this country!! UNTIL the people understand the real issues, real threats they are facing I mean what is this?there people who need serous help, people need medicine, education is soo expensive and when you finish..NO job! what military threat does Uganda face that it needs to spend all that money on six jets? if that money is invested in the countries economy imagine what could be achieved.

  • @Gunermonthis is simply a move for this government to increase its military dictatorship in that region.

  • @Gunermon Spot On!

This is the land where that muslim monkey Idi Amin (forgive me for forgetting all his BS self bestowed titles) killed more then 300k of the people.

What is the purpose of these rusky toys? This monkey should have been used for the local people or donated to Tanzania for getting rid of that monkey Idi amin!

  • @Gunermon, I will continue to help any poor child who does not make these decissions

  • @Gunermon I'm sorry have you been to Uganda? The NGO money that you donate bypasses the Ugandan banks as NGOs are set up elsewhere financially. I disagree with the idea of buying jets etc but my first job after I got my commercial pilots license was as a first officer with Uganda Air Cargo. They to this day are overstretched and unable to support the NGOs and sponsor program just because people are pulling out their dollar from the charities. Your money DOES NOT GO TO THE GOVERNMENT.

  • @Gunermon to sad if u people still in that crap help african child

  • @Gunermon Uganda is being funded by the US government to fight against muslim paramilitary forces, especially somalia. The US recently transferred two unmanned aerial drones to uganda.

  • @Gunermon These countries should be safety first.

  • @Gunermon welcome to the capitalist heaven, where the people don't have any say in what goes on in their country, government rules outright!

  • @Gunermon the problem is not Ugandan governement, but you. you think that the money you used to give really reached the poor kids? How can you prove it to yourself? God know, if you gave $100, only 10 Cents reached those poor kids, the rest was spent to maintain those who received your money. I tend to believe that you gave money, but my point here is to tell you that if government was good, you wouldn't had to send your money. Children in need are in need indeed because of government

  • The report appears to be false (the ones that this news reporter got his sources from). A Ugandan officer has told other news agencies that they are simply bringing over their Mig21/23's for overhaul to either russia or some other country like that (Ukraine). Also if they were buying this, it would probebly be good for the Ugandan air force, if they had the money. I mean what use is tanks in dense forests that plaster that area? And there is mountanous terrai. Plus it can be used for Somalia

  • what ever i will buy anti aircraft

  • Surely there are better ways to spend the oil money to continue developing our beautiful country?

  • @leylam1

    You must still defend yourself.

  • @MrHomostain hey, defend yourself with what,a handfull of russian planes? If the people there want to defend themselfs, why not buy some tanks?Or even better, develop their economy as leylam says, cause if another cauntry wants to destroy uganda,it will, and uganda will fall, with or wthout some fighter planes...

  • @branza27 Or simply develop they economy And to buy few Pantsir S1 system + few tanks and that is quite good defense :). Am I not right?
