the custom 2 is an affordable model basically all you need are better sights and its loaded. maybe crimson laser. you have everything in a gun you want or need with out the 2,300 dollar price. custom 2 is basically the like all the others on the inside except the gold match... kimber your not going to go wrong. but you are right kimber mags are crap. chip mccormick and wilson combat for mags

Is there any way you could attach a rail on the bottom of the barrel to put a light/laser on it? Or would you have to buy a custom 45 that has that already?

I already own three Kimber's and I love them. You are right on point, Wilson Combat Magazines are fantastic but you should also look into the ones made by Ed Brown as well, there are great and work flawlessly

I have this gun and it's a lot of bang for the buck. I want to put new grips and sights on it. I put wilson combat mags in it. Nice benchmade onslaught in the background
