I'm not sure there is a finite "scenario" for this cycle; Dichterliebe has a very specific storyline, but the Eichendorff Liederkreis (and the Heine Liederkreis as well) aren't so much narrative as they are lyrical. Song cycles that always have a story to them would be Schubert's department; Schumann's are more like reflections on a theme, if that makes any sense!
Lovely voice, and so sensitive...and while I understand the words, what exactly is the scenario supposed to be? The implied narrative in the poem seems to have gaps in it.
