DS games are surprisingly durable. I left one in my jeans pocket by accident as it went through the washer and dryer. To my surprise, it worked perfectly, save data and all! Perhaps I just got lucky, but it's still worth noting just how much the cartridges can take.

Nintendo is known for pretty durable stuff.. My ds games have gone through hell, as wekk as my ds. Washer/dryer. lost one in the grass outside a few rainy weeks, still worked. whipped against a wall. still works. for the record, theres not much you can do to break a nintendo thing XD. wii is a good example, its on an entertainment center near the ceiling. dog tripped a wire, it went out the window and onto the cement 2 storys down. still worked but casing was mosly broken.
