Hi Jim I think you have made a mistake at 18.30. your diagram of the JK flip Flop is wrong.
From your karnaugh maps J1= Qo, K1= Not Qo
The mistake is that you have connected the J1 to Not Qo of stage 0 Flip Flop. And the K1 is connected to Qo, when it should be connected to Not Qo.
The J1 is suppose to be connected to Qo and the K1 is to be connected at Not Qo.
Please check and feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
