Thank you so much for this video! I've been spinning for a couple of days, and this suddenly helped everything make sense! I've linked your video on Ravelry. I couldn't find your name there, so if you're not a member, it's a great knitting resource.
Hi, I really enjoyed watching this, I spin too and have a few videos on Youtube. I have difficulty using a spindle with the whorl at the bottom but can spin with top whorl easily ( see my videos!).I also make my own spindles with top whorl. Do you Ply or knit with this single right off the spindle? I would enjoy seeing more of your videos! Thanks so much, Grace, Ps, is this mohair?
Thank you--the fibre is Corriedale wool from Silverbrook Farm in Marchand, PA, USA. To ply, I pull it off the spindle and use the Andean plying method, which utilises both ends of the single; I make yarn balls once the plies have set, as spinning sometimes takes me longer than the projects for which I use the yarn.

Thanks, but I don't knit. I needle-bind and card-weave.

I can't hear you very well, even with the volume turned up you might speak more loudly next time.

Thanks! This is a nicely made video that very clearly shows what you're doing.
