  • I want to know when southern pacific runs #4449 and how do you know they would be running?

  • It's sad to hear how fouled 4449's whistle has become. Still great video. thumbs up

  • @DanielVolker You honestly can't tell how it sounds any different from the way it used to sound? It's aweful now.

  • @DanielVolker Looks like it might be loose or has a crack in it, I looked at another video of it and it looks like there is also steam shooting out near the base of the whistle.

  • @CoasterFan2105 in my newest video you can really tell the difference in the whistle

  • @DanielVolker Listen to the whistle in my newest video and you will hear the difference

  • It's at the Brooklyn Roundhouse for over 25 years. By

2012, the steel beasts should be on display in a new roundhouse near the Oregon

Museum of Science and Industry. Eventually, an interpretive center will be built there,

    too.

  • @ervans Any progress on the new roundhouse?

  • No offense, but the Daylight is NOT known as the "World's Most Famous Steam Locomotive". The Flying Scotsman is and always will be.

However, I guess you can say it's "America's Most Famous Steam Locomotive".

  • @KingofTomedy yeah, but i asked 6 or 7 people in my train club what the flying scotsman was and they had no idea. If i haddnt watched Thomas the tank engine when i was little i wouldnt have known ether. lol. There equil i would say

  • Maybe so, but It's the most viewed Steam Locomotive in the world

  • Great video, and happy national train day! In Norway 8th of May is a celebration day beacuse this was the day the Germans ended the war in 1945. Very well filmed, thumbs up!

  • In it's new home next year

  • @ervans Portland, OR?

  • Haha here we go again with crap saying "The World's Most Famous" something or other that only exists in the US.

There is more to the world than just your backyard or my backyard so stop claiming "The World's Most Famous" when it isn't.

Its like saying world series blah blah game when its only played in the US !!

  • It's the most viewed Steam Locomotive in the world

  • Sweet. 5 stars

  • Thank you

  • Happy National Train day, great video!

  • Thanks

  • ding ding ding ding ding
