  • I am sorry to say that but I prefer your boxes than the Cornell's one! His are ugly yours are amazing!

  • @mreinstein48 Many thanks, but you might want to do a Joseph Cornell online search...you'll find some work of his that is quite fantastic.

  • @Brdlee I know you're a big fan ... but I really prefer yours anyway! This is my taste and you are very creative and talented because there is lot if symmetry and great which set perfectly together. This is an art.

  • I miss making assemblages so much! My whole Fine Art foundation degree was based on them.

All your boxes are lovely! I really need to get back into making them! Thanks for the inspiration!

  • @laurakirchen Hi Laura...many thanks! I'm glad you are inspired...I would love to see some of your work!

  • Always amazed by your stuff. You are so creative it's fantastic to watch. Wish I could get some inspiration to do stuff like you.

  • @beentheredonethatb4 Hey there...many thanks!!

  • All of your videos are great. You really keep things moving and are never boring. So many art videos are too much about being a "personality" and they lack content. Many artists of your caliber wouldn't want to share ideas, so I am impressed with your generosity. Very thoughtful.

  • @treesharp Many thanks...hope there might be some good ideas here that you can use !!

  • Greg, I agree with some of the other responses.. I like your boxes much better. I hope you realize how amazing an artist you are. Bravo!!

  • @judysheart Wow...Judy, thank you so much !!!

  • I really enjoy your work, You give me so much inspiration for new projects!

  • @bestestmama Many thanks...I'm glad you've found some inspiration!!

  • SUPER COOL

  • Love your videos! Thanks for sharing your techniques. Makes me want to get busy and create!

  • @TandeB4 Hey...you're welcome...go forth and create !! :)

  • Thanks for introducing him. I will have to do a bit of research....I do love people who share their uniqueness..his work looks like stuff I could really get into but not more than yours. The first time I saw one of your assemblages I was hooked. Plus your way of talking is nice and relaxed and I always love the old tunes you play.

  • @ppaisley Many thanks again...you might want to read the book, Utopia Parkway...a great insight into Cornell. I have a great appreciation for all of his assemblages (and collage work), but there are other assemblage/box artists that I also admire.

  • @Brdlee ya I might just have to check him out...the title sure sounds enticing...:) thanks

  • Cornell's work was not random. Check out: Utopia Parkway: The Life And Work Of Joseph Cornell by Deborah Solomon. It is a fascinating read. Check out Charles Mee's Hotel Cassiopeia, a play, as well.

  • @Betweenbluengrey I've read Utopia Parkway quite some time ago, but am going to dig it out once again...yes, great reading, fascinating man!

  • I think the boxes that you make are nicer than Cornell's

  • half a million dollars? OMG that is amazing! My favourite of his boxes I saw here was as 10:26. Did his boxes have meanings or where they just random objects assembled together? Always enjoy your videos and thanks for inspiring me in the first place get into box assemblages, i so love it!

  • Really nice.

  • This is so amazing!!! It's a new form of art I'm really starting to like. Keep up the videos!! There really helpful:) oh btw you sound like Nicholas cage!!!

  • @jenforyou Wow...Nicholas Cage!! Glad you are enjoying the world of box assemblages...are you an artist yourself?

  • @Brdlee haha no. im a senior at highschool

i do art and i have to do a major work for my exams.:)

dont know what im going to do, but i really like this kind of mixed media stuff!!

keep up the videos! more demonstrations!!

  • A much calmer sounding voice after the box is finished...lol

  • From what I've seen so far, I think your boxes are more interesting than Mr. Joseph Cornell's boxes.

  • @Telekon5 Many thanks, but be sure to do a google search on Cornell...he was truly a genius with his process!
