  • its cool

  • wooooooooooooooow i like what i bring to chile? xD

  • uuuugggghhhhhhh.... the last piece took 30 min to put in!!!

  • I can make this out of 1 1/2 pieces of printer paper!!! cool!!! but you have to separate a bunch of god damned squares... uuuugggghhhhhh

  • I think this is the hardest module that I've ever made.

    Sigh...

    ...29 more to go...

  • thank you youtube for the mute button

  • @13origamidog37 I like this music because it calms me down when I'm frustrated with the last piece.

  • ok i make it but it looks like a verry ugly ball of diffrends color's sorry for my english

  • if you have used glue ?

  • thnx!! loved making it....

  • beznadziejne ...powinna być całość krok po kroku!!! :/

  • why couldn't you give us a better start?

  • I'm doing this for a social studies project, this is kinda hard to follow.

  • all your video's re toooooooooooooooooooooo fast can you plz! make one that is slower?

  • Thank you very much... Disabled... =P

  • thats shitt i cant really see it

  • i made 3 starsea kusudamas already, now off to this one.

  • In that case this one should not give you any trouble ; )

  • Do you assemble it basically the same way?

  • I personally think this pocket-flap assembly is easier that the starsea one ; )

  • wow it seems harder than the others now lol i made it for my church but my baby brother smashed it "cry's"

  • WOW.... THIS LOOKS MUCH EASYER THAN CHERRY BLOSSOM BALL "I'VE MADE THREE CHERRY BLOSSOM BALLS SO FAR" :p

  • I just love it!! (When I first connected it, I thought it was wrong because it wasn't really a ball, but with some pushing it worked ;) )

    It looks great <33333

  • genial !!

  • to connect the stupid things is alot of work...if you can do it...the first parts connect pretty well...after that it gets almost impossible (so far, impossible for me)...

  • we're supposed to make this for chemistry class, my idiot teacher gave me directions on a black photo copy ima fail yay :)

  • nice

  • you should also be able to make a tetrahedron(three sided pyramid, four sides, three pieces to a corner)

  • i did 12 pieces but i dont understand how to connect them :(

  • I am sure you have figured it out by now ;)

  • do u know how to make a koi fish??? if u do, post a VDO on. so i can try to do it

  • Won Parks $ Koi <3 <3 !! :D Just google - dollar koi origami - for the diagram ... I don't find it suitable for an instruction vid as it would require a part 1 to 5 or so and it is simply more effective to follow a diagram instead of a vid - not for beginners anyhow ;)

  • hmmm im gonna try to make it!

  • kewlz

  • wao0o0!!!! muy bien elaborad0 la explicacion es muy claro esta perfecto!!!!

    =D

  • what defines a kusudama?

  • a real kusudama has healing power ;)

  • how much paper?

  • See 3:50 either 12, 30 or even 90.

  • post a vid on how to make the octahedron please

  • You don't need a vid for that! Where 5 are connected in this vid you simply leave out one so you have 4 modules coming together at all corners or vertices of the model ;)

  • do you prefer modular origami because that is what most of your videos are?

  • not really ... I prefer nice models ... which are often modular but not always ;)

  • wow!

  • this song fits this lovely origami and....... i can see that this tutorial was made perfectly....KEEP ON FOLDING ; )

  • when i was folding it, i assembled 4 units together instead of five (i wanted an icosahedron :-D) and i was like: holly hell! here is something bad :-D but i did it. thanks for a perfect gift for my mum!

  • :D I am making my own :DDD It's really pretty

  • its so easy

  • I need a better guide for actual construction of the 12 module kusudama. The only figure I can seem to make is a cylindrical figure...

  • Hmmm shouldn't be that hard... just make sure tha each and every module is connected to 3 others (so 4 in total). For the big one each is connected to 4 others ( 5 in total). Good luck !! ;)

  • I made one my self it looks nice:P Watch my video please.

  • THX dude!!!!That stuff's AWESOME!!!thank you very mutch!!!

  • so does the 12 piece one use the same size paper, just a different way of putting them together??

  • yep! just make smaller rings ;)

  • i dont get it how meny pieces we need 12 or 30 pleas help me

  • 30 for the icosahedron see 5:20 and 12 for the cuboctahedron see 5:27 ;)

  • the music is gay

  • thx man my gf will love that she is totally into origami and im a noob but thats awesome and easy!!!

  • the 12 module kusudama is so bouncy

  • that looks so awsome!! im totally gonna make one now! :D

  • this looks really easy and looks really cool i am going ot try to make one

  • That's pretty badass! lol very nice xD

  • thx. i like modular origami very much and this would have to be my favourite besides a modualr origami where i had 90 pieces bu this would have to be my fav

  • I'm an origami beginner. After watching your instructional video, I think that I might be able to pull this one off. Great video!! Thank you so much. I'm now a fan of your work :)

  • Great Instructional. I Completed Leroy's Kusudama in only one setting! I very pleased with how it looks (cosmetically)! This is one of my favorite modular do construct. Thanks Leroy and Thanks Tom!

    -Mark

  • wow thats beautiful!!!

  • The "Chrysanthemum Leroy" is one of my creations that taste more.

Thank you for showing the construction through video.G

    Good folds!

    LEROY (Brazil)

  • Hi Leroy, I found it on your site ... check out the modified title ;) Glad you liked the vid :D For me this design puts you amongst the best origami designers in the world and thanks a lot for sharing it and looking forward for more!!

  • Thanks for making this video, it makes an excellent model to my collection!

And thank you Leroy for creating a fantastic design and sharing it with the world!!! :)

  • Yep truly amazing design... am not much of a designer myself ;)

  • Argh! I can't do it. ;_; I finished all 30 modular pieces but I can't just seem to connect them together. What's this 'flap' thing you keep talking about here?

  • From 3:58 onwards you can see quite clearly I think... there is a bit that sticks out "flap" that fits into the space "pocket"on the other side of the module...what ever words I use to clarify won't help much probably... watch @ 3:58 in high quality ;)

  • I folded it inside out. ... that would explain it. XDD;;

Anyway, stereotypical response: It's awesome, dude. I'm so glad you came up with this model~

  • Leroy came up with the model I just made the vid, glad you liked it :D

  • It's real pretty O_O

  • :-D

  • whoa :D that's beautiful! great work.

  • see i can never do that! How long did it take you to learn how to do this?

  • what are u having trouble with?

  • Just by trying in about 1 year moved from cranes only to other and modular models... I am sure you could learn much quicker though, folding cranes only originally I never imagined it would be contagious ;)

  • i love wathcing your videos! you are a great teacher! i can't wait to try this one

  • muito dasora veioooooooo

  • sweeeeeeeeet!!!!!!

  • thanks for this!!! i wanted to do something diferent than i use to do, like the arabesque, this is good!!!! :D
