  • still sounds as good as he ever did , they don't make them like that anymore ,

  • ahoy there..sloppy stage hands ,nothing changes,..tally ho !!

  • from 'MACK THE KNIFE' I thought it said 'SMACK THE WIFE' but then again I guess I'm just a youngster in comparison with this time of music but I still love it

  • Five'll get ya ten that one dislike sleeps with the fishes.

  • WHAT HAPPENED TO BOBBY?

  • @Jerryjennett01 Bobby was born in 1937, sadly became ill as a child which severely weakened his heart, he died in 1973, complications from heart surgery, 37 years young but left us with these great clips! A great movie called Beyond the Sea starring Kevin Spacey is a must see.

  • love him :)

  • mack is back the knife

  • Bobby looks an inch tall, and like a mannequin......he was so much better than this......but Im still grateful for any old Bobby footage...... thanks.....

  • Wow man, such a pity the sound is terribly soft :(

  • Hot, sexy, really cookin'! All that class and only 23. The master at work.

  • That is great. What show is this, and who is the host????

  • It was a special sponsored by Timex watches hosted by Louis Jourdan.

  • No one better!!!!! Thanks!

  • Bobby forever ! ! !

    Thanks for posting !

  • he's so young here! Probably one of his first TV performances

  • This is from November 1959. Mack the Knife had gone to Number 1 at the beginning of October and was still Number 1 when this was filmed. He was 23. He had been on TV regularly for about a year before this, making appearances on Ed Sullivan and Dick Clark's Beechnut Show among others.

  • @bobbyfan64 And, if I'm not mistaken, "Mack the Knife" wound up as the number one record for all of 1959.

  • i love this performance of Mack!!!

  • Happy 50th, Mackie!!! GREAT vid! Bobby was AMAZING! 5 stars!!! :))
