Chandonnay is a fruity, fresh, creamy and young-refleshing wine which fully match seafood, especially shell-fish. The aroma and taste of the wine does not cover the taste of the food. Instead, it enhance the favour and freshiness of the seafood.
I like you Heather a lot and I like all your presentation. You blow all these so - called television chefs in the weeds and especially the ones they have on those mindless morning television shows on the major networks.
Like your style. . .how do learn to taste vanilla, and oak in wine? I want to know, and be able to do that. . . .I will look into a local store for classes. Keep up the great work!
One way to start is to buy an un-oaked Chard, say, from New Zealand, and an oaky California one, and then compare. Ask a sales person at a decent wine store for two bottles that will help you understand the difference. You don't need to spend a lot - keep it under $15 per bottle, and have some friends over to taste with you! Thanks - Heather
