Hurricanetelevision - How can you chortle? This is clearly a homespun video communicating a New Years wish and inviting message. Your reaction is just a technical critique? I'm in LA and the "Industry" and find great pleasure in this small town parade. This skit is real and it makes you smile. Redo shmedoo. The charm is in the unsophistication. These folks are clearly about substance. They appear happy and the message is clear. This isn't American Idol. Awaiting next week's skit.

Very cute, but as a Jew and as a TV producer, I'd be remiss if I didn't voice that the video production is embarrassing... especially considering you're in LA in 2010.

Someone spent time on the lyrics and "choreography..." - that effort seems wasted by awful production. It's a shame. All the mistakes were easily avoidable.

I could go on, but as this is serving as an advertisement for both the shul and videographer, I'd consider a redo.

@hurricanetelevision Thanks for your comment, we thought it was cute too. We filmed it in 30 minutes and one of our rabbis edited it in 2 hours on his mac. The videographer did us a favor by simply filming it wild. These are busy times in the 'shulbiz' we were lucky just to get everyone in one place.

We're not film makers - we're 'Jew makers' Don't worry we will keep our day jobs! But if you are offering to produce our next one, we'll take you up on it!

In fact, its because it's making the internet rounds that I feel it's an opportunity slightly missed. I bet this rolls over 300k hits. That's alot of eyeballs.
