Directional change is not extraordinary. The very first video of this type, back in the 90's, showed objects changing direction and one flying by real fast. There have been many such videos since then.

Objects change direction because of purges or thruster fire.

First of all, this video is sped up at least 2x faster than the original footage, giving it the illusion of speed and propulsed trajectory.

And the 'sudden change' in direction seems to coincide with that mass of the gas clouds, there was obviously pressure behind them because they're moving. Again though, it seems to change direction so much faster because of the sped up footage.

It could very likely be ice, dust etc...

It's a very large leap of faith to say it's a spacecraft.

Maybe the UFO was staying the same speed and the shuttle was moving. Maybe the UFO was being pushed by whatever that cloud of steam at the top is. (Unidentified Cloud of Steam?)

Maybe we need some kind of expert on space to identify all these unidentified objects. Oh, they're saying it's an ice particle? That's no good. We've already decided it's not an ice particle, so anyone who says it is isn't being open minded to alternative explanations.

know when you go outside at night, and you see a star that looks like its moving, and you know its a satellite, and you also know, no object in orbit, nor any man made object can make a dead 90degree especially since you have to be going at least 15,000mph+ to stay in orbit. i saw what i thought was a satellite one night, and another one came behind it, then it made a 90 degree turn, the other one followed, they did this an made a rectangle 3 times before going straight and fading out.

I agree. I do believe a lot of the UFO video footage we have in existence today is garbage (i.e. fake), but stuff like this cannot be denied. The directional change in itself is extraordinary.

This is taking from a camera on the NASA shuttle and is thus stationary for a long time before this object comes into view. It's not video shot from earth. The original video is taken from a much wider angle. It was recently aired on the History Channel but haven't been able to locate the full length original clip (which is much more clear, by the way).
