i love math rock, and i really like a lot of tera meloss songs, but i saw them in boston the other day, and it was mostly just noise. i was really disappointed :/

@timothyownage It might have just been the venue - saw them in toronto and it was a wall of noise too, but it was clearly whoever was running the soundboard's fault because the other bands (Marnie Stern and a local band called Greys) sounded like shit too. the soundman actually asked Nick R. to turn his guitar UP, to which Nick replied 'in 800 shows that I've played, nobody has ever asked me to turn my amp UP.'

So yeah, I guess they're also a tough band to mix but it was probably the venue.
