  • No one asked you to make a tutorial or to let us watch you click.....so don't sound so bored.

  • Isn't ur man walk cycle suppose to walk ?? if u use rotation for hands u can get a much more better qualitiy animation .... also what the heck is wrong with ur timing ?? for a proper classic male walk cycle is only 16 secs timing not 124 ... and where is ur layers ?? i think u record this video only for fun ..

  • Helped a lot, thanks mate! :)

  • LOL I LOLD!

  • I'm currently creating a walk cycle and I have attatched a mesh with skin and setup all the weighting. This guide didn't make my character move at all following each step, what do I have to do? Any help would be great.

  • annoying clicking

  • @Papua1993 THATS THE SCREEN RECORDER. LOL SORRY FOR ALL CAPS. CAPS LOCK BROKEN

  • can somebody tell me what is that coordinate plane under the blue and green guy is it important?!??! is it like the floor of your creation or something else!??!?!

  • @reyshakquit its just there so you know if your modelling ABOVE or BELOW ground. Plus it helps with accurately aligning models when modelling. For example if your making a castle...you want all the walls to be off the same Width and Height...the Gridmap / "Coordinate Plane" can help you do that.

  • how about you maximise the resolution?

  • Great stuff thanks for sharing

  • Nice tut man, but can you explain how you reposition a biped bone (bip_01) AFTER you've rigged the mesh to it (only moving the bone, not the mesh)? I cant find the answer ANYWHERE!

  • thanks! that was very helpful!

  • how do i delete steps?? when i try it says "...you cant delete all of the inactive footsteps" how can i delete them???

  • nice

  • damn mexicans

  • @minigruntmg how crass

  • im trying to get a master chief biped to move his left hand up to his head help me!!!

  • @MagnusRulerHardt just click customize..and custimize user interface..and reset

  • does this method of looping animation could be used on a model in a game?

  • DarkKiss yes this type of animation can be used in game engines. You would simply assign which series of frames does what. So for the walking animation tell the game engine to use frames 1-25, then for the running animation use frames 26-50, hypothetically of course.

  • it doesnt walk after i do those settings :/

it shows the green and blue markings but it keeps standing there

  • No its 3ds max its used for modeling and animation

  • lol

  • Thank you so much :]

  • thanks for the tutorial

  • this isn´t a tutorial, it´s only you clicking buttons, it would have been cool if you narrated what you were doing.... I didn´t learn anything >:( .. it would be cool to actually learn to do that but this video is useless for beginners like me.

  • Its actually good, you see the effect of what happens when he clicks the stuff so you know what it does, all i needed was to know how to create the footsteps and then add the keys.

  • I have to agree with Hellracer1. 99 % clicking and not enough explaining. God awful Tutorial.

  • @Hellracer1Technically its a tutorial to a human; I know not much of a tutorial, narration wise. but its still helpful and tells me what I need to know. A human is intelligent enough to know what hes doing without the narration; we only need a title labeled "tutorial" to know its something we can follow along.

  • how can I delete all my keyframes

  • Select all the bones and delete all the keyframes you see.

  • jeje se no(?)

  • thnx

  • se nota k no eres ingles XD, tri di studio,
