Funny how Sega endorsed the Game Genie and Nintendo didn't. Seemed to give Nintendo a run for their money in a way. XD

The game genie worked great for Sonic The Hedgehog. I used super speed code and he ran so fast that he went through my TV, broke it, ruined my basement, made a huge mess, then went through the window. I knew i had to turn off the SEGA but the button was stuck. I was looking around, pondering, when i saw a switch on the Game Genie, so i flipped it, and Sonic went poof.

Back in the day this video was made, pizzas were that large, super extra large (though we just called it 'large'), up to 4 toppings free, thin or crispy crust (or stuffed crust, years before a certain other company stole the idea), and delivered by a cute girl in a pizza outfit...(well my dad seemed fond of her anyways, haha).

All this for $5, back in the 80s.

What he failed to mention was how easy it was to cause your game to glitch out if you touched the Game Genie after you started playing. If you were playing a battery backed up game like Super Metroid or Final Fantasy III and this happened...say good-bye to your files!
